@ David - all our films are currently available only in PAL. We are considering skipping NTSC by going directly to Video on Demand. But, DVDs and Blu-rays always play on PC players, since these players don't care about the framerate, nor does your Computermonitor.
The star symbols? They are intersections (points) on the flight plan, joined together by the magenta line. The route is entered into the flight management computer prior to flight.
If you're asking about the cyan circles with 'A' in the middle, those are alternate airports.

Its a feature of the Boeing 777, if you have the transponder on TA/RA and you are on the ground, then its automaticly XPNDR. It switches to TA/RA right at liftoff.
