Levels! I use it like B&C and it hits home from after effects so almost essential per show + an easy way to turn black pngs to white pngs by just adjusting the base slider to 0 or 1
recolour is one of my favourites, can achieve some great pulsing colour shifts with some brightness and colour tweaking. hue rotate is also a great easy one for spicing up content while retaining complimentary colours.
Cheers, dude. I like to combine an x-axis transform stretch with a flick of strobe to cover the reset. The upshot is an image that looks like it is always stretching without getting bigger. I probably explained that badly, but hey. Thanks for the vid :)
ooooh sick. thats kind of what they do in some anime but with a vertical movement to make things feel like they are constantly floating up. works similarly if you sync it with an invert strobe too, there's some optical illusion gifs out there like that too. clever!
Great stuff as always. I find drop shadow to be extremely useful when used creatively to achieve all kinds of cool effects when used with envelopes and FFT. I'm planning a tutorial just on drop shadow.
Brightness contrast, set brightness to bpm sync, select - 80/ - 90 % to 0% (or something else what you think is cool) play it backwards and then you have a nice sort of bump effect
Thank you for the pro tip - putting crop before transform. Was having trouble cropping a client event poster just because crop was after transform scaling. 😂 I was like what’s happening? Vmix seems easier 😂
What are your favorite UNDERRATED Effects?
transform effect!
Yeah! Got any transform tips and tricks not mentioned in the video?

Levels is a great one, especially for us AE / Photoshop users
i really like slide
Bloom with opacity set to audio reactive. It's subtle, but adds a bit of a sparkle to everything.

Fun tip with Automask is adding a drop shadow to help when you have parts of your main graphic that you don’t want to have the black removed.
Cool tip, i will try that one out! Thanks Thom

Is an invert strobe just a flash of black?@@SeanBowes
putting a quick automation on an Invert RGB effect, so it inverts the colors back and forth. instagram.com/p/46mhAVJeT7/

Thanks Mowgli! I don’t use drop shadow much at the moment so I’m excited to see how you use it!

Nice one! Love a good bump. Saves me from rocking faders to the beat all night long
My creativity lacks on several leves, so this video from you is another that adds to my shows! Thanks boss 🙌
Happy to hear this helped you come up with some fun new ideas!
