Hey sis your hair has really thicken up a lot and grew long since your wedding video. Ayurveda has done your hair some justice and it is really healthy. Keep up the good work.

Wow. This sounds like a lot of work Adede. 😟 I don't think I can keep up with it. I just shampoo, deep condition and wear protective styles and now my hair is almost 20 inches, healthy and full. I love your videos tho because I like seeing you nourishing your beautiful hair ❤️😚

    •  4 ปีที่แล้ว +11

Thank you... yes i know its alot😅. But thats whats working for me at this moment, i wish keeping it simple like urs will work for me. That would have been so great and less time consuming haha

Do you have thin fine hair?

Yea this why I don’t really follow what TH-cam people do but I love watching them. I spend a lot of money watching TH-cam 😆 but I don’t regret it. I just know now to keep it simple and leave my hair alone.

Ahhhhh nevermind, I found the answer from my previous question from another video. So you don’t use all Ayurvedic products in one wash day routine lol. Thank you Adedè!

I like the planner you have available, I will be following your routine because I have very fine hair also, and it's nice to have someone doing the research because there is so much information out there it's overwhelming! Thanks for being You!

thank you for sharing. I love deep conditioning with moringa: avocado, honey, moringa, warm water, shea butter or oils. I add spirulina and lemon if I want to add some protein

    •  4 ปีที่แล้ว

Ohh i will try that too and see if that combination works for me. 😊

I try to keep it simple. I made oil mix with Ayurveda herbs n use henna twice a month.I do henna the first week in a month n then third week in that same month. other two weeks left I use Ayurveda oil mix in whipped Shea butter to pre poo.

    •  4 ปีที่แล้ว

Sounds like a good regimen and if it works, i say stick to it! 👍🏾 😉

I just started using ayurveda. My hair is also fine and thin and it's frustrating to manage with my growth expectations... So glad I found a TH-camr with my hair type. Also started taking iron supplements with vitamin c for proper absorbtion as I have iron deficiency anemia... For now, I'm sticking to henna and fenugreek until I see the difference. Maybe I'll try to make onion and garlic oil for my prepoo routine.

Hii, what a great detailed video. I also have fine hair but my type is 4a(predominantly)/4b .. I had medium hair density when I started my ayurvedic journey over 5 years ago. Now my hair is at waist length and I have a very high density hair. Ayurveda is the truth🤸‍♀️🤩. I really enjoyed watching your video and I'm happy to see that you have finer hair like mine.. it was really relatable.

Another great video! I started using Ayurvedic herbs about three years ago and the major one I used, which is not in your regime, is henna. The henna, while it really helped thicken my hair, tended to make it too dry. I absolutely loved the copper hues, and the variations in the color of my greys was beautiful. But again, I could not combat the dryness. Also, I have a huge bag of fenugreek, which I do not use, because my hair did not like it. :-( Just goes to show that every product or process does not work for everyone. I am happy to hear that you have found an Ayurvedic formula that works well for you!
Are you still using rice water in your regime? Why or why not? Thanks much!

    •  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

Yeah..... its important to experiment with different herbs at different times and see what is working or not, i dont use henna because of it changing your hair color. I want to try cassia but i am taking the herbs one at a time to actually notice what is doing what to my hair. At this moment i do not use rice water because i don’t want to do too much at the same time. I am doing tea rinses now. Cant add rice water rinse on top of it 😬.

My advice from my very experience is mix your henna only with water. Let it stay up to one to two days. Then mix it with honey when you are about to apply it on your deep conditioned hair. Your hair will be so moisturized. Try it and you will be thankful. This tips is how I got rid of very dry hair after henna treatment

Use your henna in a gloss with your moisturizing deep conditioner. That prevents the dryness

your hair is beautiful. After wearing weave consistently for almost a year or two... COVID has forced me to go weaveless. As a result, I have no clue how to take care of my very thin and soft natural hair...all the hair information is overwhelming to me! I am getting some weave ASAP>

When do you detangle your hair during this process of wash day ? I also have fine low porosity hair and find it quite difficult to detangle my hair

    •  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

I only do finger detangling during the application of the leave in .
