Sup guys. Sorry for breaking the schedule the last few weeks with the lack of new videos. I’ve had some real life stuff come up recently that has required my attention. I’m all good and I appreciate everyone who reached out after noticing things were a bit quiet. I feel very lucky to have a community that cares as much as you guys do 😎 That being said, uploads may be a bit sporadic the next month or so but lots of cool stuff is in the works 🫡 -Josh
No problem man. Your recipes have helped me while I'm doing the bariatric program for my surgery. Is there a way to make this even more lower carb? I can only eat lean meats and veggies. It's a pretty strict diet they have me on.
you gave me whats essentially an online recipe catalogue for free, and those ideas helped me get down to my goals, safe to say im not complaining if you needed the time off
@@jeremylee4790 I found a keto flour from this creator that claims you can sub 1:1 in place of flour. Not sure if this would help as I’ve never made it. It would be interesting to see if this would work in place of Josh’s oat flour. th-cam.com/video/Ledd5KWH_wA/w-d-xo.html
Take your time bud, you don't owe us anything. Don't lose track of your own life and disregard your health and well being. I'll still stay subscribed as will everyone else you've helped us immensely!
Your recipes have changed my life. Saving money and losing weight week-to-week thanks to you. Down from 170 to 162 and getting close to ready for summer.
One of the many things I love about Josh’s videos… his pans looked used like mine. I’m not guilted about sucking at cooking because my pans are not pristine
I have made a number of your recipes, and while I'm likely not as fast making them as you are, they never miss. Thank you for all that you do, I hope you never run out of ideas for content!
Making dough with yogurt is such a game changer in every way... provides protein, great texture and taste... never use eggs but will try as well as this recipe... this will most likely be a new go-to snack option.
josh you have weaponized my kitchen into an oat flour biscuit factory. i had no idea that combining oats + greek yogurt would be so palatable. i have these things stockpiled as my breakfast battalion.
I made these last weekend and ate them for breakfast and some snacks. I only have the large and small scoop. I used the large and they were big and thick enough to reheat in my toaster. I don't have an air fryer or toaster oven. I'm going to get the medium scoop at some point. Even with the large scoop it made a lot. They're delicious and the homemade sausage is good. I made the mac n cheese a while ago and just made a vat of the lo mein for lunches. I added mung beans. All very good and a great way to sneak in veggies. I also don't like veggies.
@TheMealPrepManual I made this and just did it as a sheet instead of little portions. They taste amazing. I never knew how to cook ground turkey like this. Thank you so much, I cant wait to try other recipes.
I just found your channel, and it is da bomb! This recipe looks thoughtful, well planned, well explained, and delish. I am tired of spending $10 for breakfast on my way to work. I am making this on Saturday for next week. Wow, thanks!
Accidentally used normal yogurt instead of greek, came out sticky/wet dough, after baking became like meatloaf or burger patty. Still really delicious! Would love it in a burger bun with hot sauce
Tip: a potato masher can be great for breaking down ground meat into really fine crumbles like you need here. You need one of the "wire" ones, not a ricer/"grid" shaped one. Probably don't use it in a non-stick pan were metal utensils will damage the coating, of course.
Thanks for posting this recipe. I'm going to make a full batch of these tomorrow and freeze them. I'm hoping these will work out well for those early mornings we wake up for all-day baseball games.
Making your own oat flour is definately the way to go. So cheap when compared to buying off the shelf! Could you increase the eggs whilst reducing the youghurt to up the protein content?
Wow! Just came across this TH-cam video. Can't wait to make these! Thanx for the recipe but also for the great instructions! Ordered the Zwilling system and can't wait to use that as well. It has come at a perfect time for my lifestyle changes. Looking forward to more videos. Take care!😊
ooh this looks good, definitely putting it on my list to try! great narration as always, really appreciate the extra context for some of the steps, and your word choice always has me smiling :)
80 biscuits @ 50 each is 4000 calories. I calculated 3400 total calories for my batch (same as yours).. either way, they taste good. I used a bigger scooper (1/4 cup) without realizing amd reached a count of 45. But in reality, I was never gonna eat just one biscuit so, non issue there. I'll weigh mine and use your protein #s / and 80 count to figure out mine. Thanks !
So I tried this recipe and while it's good, mine came out different: not as risen and only yielding 40? I even used a cookie scoop. I had to get different turkey (premixed sausage) so maybe it had higher fat content? And I wasn't able to mill the oats as smooth, idk. I'll try again with different ground turkey and pre-milled oat flour.
yo, I don't know if you read comments, but I've recently discovered your channel and started to food prep. Would you mind sharing what meal prep containers / boxes you use and which size they are. I see you using glass boxes as well as plastic boxes. If you have the brand by any chance I'd rlly enjoy it
Seeing so many youtubers fall into shitty affiliate programs (like shadowleage and north vpn...) yours with zwilling just makes sense and I like that you offer the code now. I bought one set of the freezer bags and the two containers and really like them. I not only use them for snack city but to buy meat in larger chunks and keep some "ready to grill" steaks at hand (well, okay, 12h fridge de-frost time included...)
Hey, Josh, maybe I just missed it in other videos, but is that a new air fryer, and would you recommend it? I have been thinking about getting a new one that's more like that one, with wider flat trays rather than a basket style one. Been loving your snack recipes, but it's always annoying only being able to heat up 4-6 pieces of something in my fryer.
Yeah it is new. It’s a cuisinart. So far it’s pretty comparable but it is very big and the buttons aren’t very intuitive. I also can’t be bothered to read the directions so that’s probably my fault
05:43 is a great joke sir. I salute you! My caveman brain was totally enslaved by the smaller tray. Thank you for the great recipe. Have fun with this , you are naturally funny, I hope you joke around more.
In baking you can replace yogurt 1:1 with almost any kind of dairy product: milk, coconut milk, sour cream, buttermilk, cream cheese, cottage cheese, heavy cream, mayo, soft tofu.
I was only able to get about 50 using the measurements. I didnt use the vegetables because my wife wouldn't eat them. Not sure how many more I would have been able to make if I did use them.
Okay, so the batter came out way thicc, so i used milk to get it to a more manageable consistency.i also used mozz instead of chedder cause it was what i had. Maybe mozz weighs different than chedder? (I bought a kitchen scale just for this) I made muffins in both a silicone and tin pan and they maybe should have been cooked on 350 for 25-28 min because they were browned outside but a little raw in the middle. Getting them out sucked too in both pans. Then in a third attempt i did the double spoon method as mentioned and that cane out the best imo probably cause they were smaller and able to cook through. All in all, would make again but im getting the damn cookie scoop i was avoiding
Anyone swapped out alternate gluten free flours? Im thinking maybe 1 cup flax seed meal, and doing the rest with rice flour or???? I know I react okay to flax, not so much to oats and gluten.... open to ideas.

You could but I don't recommend it because the flavor is a bit stronger. It will still be good, the sausage will just have a beefy flavor
