Great video. My brother use to get bullied by these kids everyday. They always threw things at him in class and made fun of him while the school did virtually nothing about it. One day he was telling me about it and how it was getting to him so I told him he might have to defend himself. We looked up some videos on fighting techniques. We watched yours and though I didn’t think he’d really use it, I thought we’d look anyway. One day on the play ground a kid threw a basketball at his head and that was it. My brother walked over a clean punch the kid in his jaw. The kid was out. I was so proud!! He finally stood up to those kids. Of course he lost his job that day and banned him from teaching in public school all over the state but I think he learned to stick up for himself...so thanks again!!

@@Daesma999 that's really going to be based on the instructor and how they teach as well as run their program. Nothing says you can't do Kickboxing for the workouts and practice muay thai at home for yourself either.
Hi ! Thanks for the class, I learned a lot! I would like you to talk in the video sequence about breathing... I have trouble focusing on that during training.
You should exhale a bit with each technique. We commonly say tell someone to be quite, shhhh. With short exhales with each technique you will find you don't fatigue as quickly
Great video. I loved the way you showed kicks. I always had difficulty learning them. I have one question. I don't have punching bag at home. Is it okay if I practice without punching bag?
Yes, absolutely, you would just work in the air, aka shadow boxing. I would still focus on the proper form and I would wear boxing gloves, as that will help with the workout portion. Depending on your size would decide the gloves. For general fitness, I have most beginners use 12 or 14oz gloves. More seasoned or bigger people 16 - 18oz.
It's a really well made video, the only thing is that i think it's important to say that, for the stance, the body be turned to the side at roughly 45 degrees. But anyway the teaching was lovely and i really enjoyed watching the video 😊❤

@@martialartsunlimited01 sure ! I’m new to learning kickboxing can you do another video regarding different jabs , kicks , and defense or even could do a video for beginners giving tips on how to start I could use some
I’m a blue belt in martial arts, I’m starting kickboxing hopefully to try and strengthen my legs and arms so my punches and kicks can be more powerful when I start sparring this summer.
What martial art are you a blue belt in? As for the reasons to get into Kickboxing, I'd say that's a great reason as well as to improve range control and basic defense.
Great video man, thanks for the basics
You are most welcome. There are several other videos to include the new 2022 heavy bag workout.
Today i’ll be going on my first kickboxing session and i am so nervous, but thank you because now i’ll be more confident in what i’m doing. Really useful information!
Wow, that's great. I'm super happy for you. So how was it?
I started learning muay thai on my own because I don't have anyone near to teach me that and I always wanted to learn it. But here in town we have kickboxing classes and my aunt said we could try it. IDK, I feel like muay thai is better for me.. but kickboxing is something I can train too
The basic premise is similar, so learning Kickboxing isn't a bad thing. What is it about Muay Thai that you are looking for?
@@martialartsunlimited01 Actually, it came from anime (wow, what a surprise) and I wanted to learn something new when I already don't feel like going workout like that and stuff. This became more enjoyable for me and I actually learn something which could be even useful later on.
I finally picked something but I'm still wondering if I should continue training on my own or if I should try kickboxing instead.
How much different actually is kickboxing from muay thai? Do you think it's worth to try this instead?
@@Daesma999 that's really going to be based on the instructor and how they teach as well as run their program. Nothing says you can't do Kickboxing for the workouts and practice muay thai at home for yourself either.
@@martialartsunlimited01 true. Anyway I love your videos :)
@@martialartsunlimited01 Thank you so much
No problem

Thanks for explaining what a cross is
You are most welcome
Awesome!!!
Thank you
It's a really well made video, the only thing is that i think it's important to say that, for the stance, the body be turned to the side at roughly 45 degrees. But anyway the teaching was lovely and i really enjoyed watching the video 😊❤
Thanks man! I’m starting my first class tonight!
