Hey... I just found this channel and I wanted to thank you your method of reaction videos. So many YT reaction channels seem to think that its a stage for them to perform and it ruins the actual video. You are offering the perfect balance of saying things worth hearing but not talking non-stop. I can only speak for myself but when watching your reaction videos its like sitting in a room with friends watching a film together and people just say something when they have something worth saying but don't chatter non-stop. That is why I'm subscribed to very very few YT reaction channels and its why I am subscribed now to this channel. Keep up the good work.
All I can say is I love this franchise and every movie in it. The franchise plots an amazing arc of one man at the start of his career, through his prime, dealing with being past his prime, and coming full circle as the man proves he has value at any age. The movies are also a great way of seeing how the sport of boxing has evolved from the 70's to the present. The only other thing is I must warn you that in the next movie some silliness starts to seep into the story, and the fourth movie the there is even more silliness. Also the 4th movie becomes kind of an experimental film, made in 1985 at the height of classic MTV the movie is as much music video as it is a film. Now I love the 3rd and 4th movies, but I know the tonal shift is coming and I'm ready for it and accept it. The 5th movie grounds the franchise again and it stays that way from there on. Best Regards!
I think the unique value of seeing them all through Creed, is the rare ability to watch a character - played by the same actor - from his youth all the way through being elderly. The films are all special in different ways. Not all are cinematic masterpieces like these two, but some are absolutely at this level.
I always think of this sequel as an EXTENSION of the first movie which is why it's so good. It has a happier ending with the pulling off the upset and winning this time. This movie tells the same story versus other sequels which put the characters in a new adventure, etc.
In my opinion Rocky Balboa is the greatest movie character of all time. Is so unique to be able to follow one character for almost 50 years. As a Rocky fan I loved all of the movies, but if I take a step back and look at the movies as a critic it’s pretty clear the other movies aren’t on the same level as the first two. They are fun to watch, but not masterpieces like the first two.
Beauty of this whole 'series' of films is that I grew up with them/him, my opinion has changed as I've matured and a lot of the special moments are inexorably tied to my own special moments. Very rarely do I get through one with dry eyes.
Hello. Whenever you get to Back to the Future Part II, don’t watch the end, has spoilers right after the last scene for BTTF III. Have you seen Who Framed Roger Rabbit? That movie has connections to BTTF II Another good Christopher Lloyd movie is Clue with Tim Curty. And have you seen GalaxyQuest?
Hi Ryan. I'm glad to see you again. Been sick for a while. I like Rocky but I love Apollo. Great characters. Have you seen The Lovely Bones.? How are all the kids.? Stay safe and keep that movie watching with us and I'll bring the popcorn. ❤️❤️
Sylvester Stallone was the 3rd person to be nominated for both writing and acting in the same year. Who were the previous two? Charlie Chaplin for "The Great Dictator" Orson Welles for "Citizen Kane" That is pretty impressive company. Pretty impressive credentials. For a guy who wrote the screenplay in three days....and he played the same role in eight films over a 47 year timeframe. I'm trying to think of another writer/actor with those type of credentials.....oh wait... there is no other.
Forgot to mention the oscars. Won by a relative unknown....beating out the biggest names in Hollywood and the films with the biggest budgets while Rocky was a total shoestring budget.
Good reactions without over reacting...keep it up without keeping it up... Fear and loathing in Las Vegas is a good film especially for direction. Underated film .
My favorite sequel! I love this film and love your reactions. Glad to see you uploading more the past few weeks. What have you got for October? Have you seen Black Phone? It’s an interesting take on “paranormal” films.
I would say that if you like the characters you should definitely watch the rest of the films. They are all immensely entertaining even though none of them reach the masterpiece levels of 1 and 2.
Wait till you get to 4... Epic montages. It's a Star Spangled Spectacular. You'll likely be chanting USA! USA! USA! before it's over... or maybe, given your normal reaction, just quietly saying it 🤣
The Rocky series is at the very least entertaining throughout, with the sole exception of Rocky V. The quality does go down a bit in Rocky III and Rocky IV, but they are still entertaining movies with emotional stakes. Luckily Rocky V isn't required viewing in the series. You're free to skip that one if you want. The renaissance of the Rocky franchise started off incredibly strong with Rocky Balboa and Creed, but turns into a bit of a rehash with Creed II. If I had to rank them: Rocky 10/10 Rocky Balboa 9.5/10 Rocky II 9/10 Creed 8/10 Rocky III 7.5/10 Creed II 7/10 Rocky IV 6.5/10 Rocky V 4/10
When Rocky says, I aint going down no more.... so good
Such a great sequel. The first two belong together, as 3 and 4 belong together. Thanks for the reaction.

yes. i always feel 1 and 2 are one. like godfather 1 and 2.
And Halloween and Halloween 2
@@normcmiller And don't forget "Breakin'" and 'Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo"
"You're a bum!", lol. If you run out of Halloween costume ideas, you could always go in Rocky's flintstone outfit. Don't forget the club.

I get that, I think I’m invested enough in Rocky as a character to carry on though!
@@WatchMeMovie That’s what I’m talking about. I hope you go the distance 🥊
"Yo Adrian, I did it!" chokes me up every time.
Great editing of your reaction! You made it really exciting.

Ready for Rocky III! The best of all. I’m jealous that you get to see it with virgin eyes.❤️💪
#3 has an all-time great cameo that lasts several minutes
1, 2 and 6 have the heart and the soul of this one. the others are pop(corn) fillers.
Thank you bro for reacting Rocky II. Don't forget reacts Rocky III, Rocky IV, Rocky V, Rocky Balboa and the spin off Creed and Creed II
Great film. Glad you liked it. Always great review / reaction.
Be safe man.
Burgess Merideth was such a great character actor.
At the time, I shunned this sequel, thinking that "Rocky" should have been a stand-alone, but I now feel it's quite worth watching.
Funny, The Incredibles also did this with the second, only with a huge gap of years between movies but not in story
Yes, you should continue the series. They are all worth seeing but If they had stopped at 3 It would have been a perfect trilogy!
You should have way more subs, keep doing what your doing, I feel like you've got a real high ceiling!
What an uplifting comment, thank you!
18:43 Mighty Mick is the BEST......the GOAT!!

Hi Trudy! Hope you’re feeling better. The kids are doing good and I’ll keep the videos coming, cheers for stopping by as usual!
Ryan, you should be Mickey for Halloween, you already have the hat!
Rocky 3 is my favorite... eye of the tiger

I enjoyed no4 as a kid,its very corny as an adult though, but still fun
Yes. ..Carry on. 😏
Keep going!

Haha cool
Please do Rocky 3, the first 3 movies seamlessly
Three is OK, but four is the ultimate American propoganda movie. It's utterly ridiculous, but great fun, and kind of dangerous too.
Hey Father Carmine, ya think if u can throw me down a blessing so that if i get beat up tonight
