Join PW & CW as the beach launch the Stabi craft off Flinders Beach in Victoria's Western Port. They chase big squid, salmon, King George whiting and even some gummy sharks!
That is a real good and entertaining show I loved every second mate you are a star and your wife is a star as well good team you can see the love and fun you both have well done again keep it up
How long have you been using the Minn Kota Talon? Has it held up well in the saltwater? I had a 10' Power Pole on my previous skiff but recently purchased a 24' bay boat, I really prefer the Talons over the Power Pole due to being lower on the stern for trolling and they anchor deeper but see very few reviews from people using Talons in the salt.
Nice video. Can you tell me what you use for your audio? I would guess some type of external lav microphones? yes? Thanks for your help - still working out my audio bugs for my YT channel.
Hey PW, can you tell me what underwater camera setup your using ? Im looking at using something similar with a 30ft HDMI cable to my Atomos LCD field screen recorder. thanks.
That's a Minn Kota "Talon" Dan, it's a 20 foot aluminium pole with a carbon fiber tip - it's to anchor your boat in shallow water with absolute silence. Sounds weird but trust me - super effective!
Haha it wasn’t as big as them I was fishing of the shore and it swam straight in front of me so I picked it up and it wrapped it’s tentacles around my fingers and i felt it bite my dad thought it was hilarious 😂
Rylee Vulich the Salmon you get in WA are the big mature spawners. The western subspecies. They spawn off the south west coast of WA ,then the planktonic fry drift east on the current, and develop in the waters off south australia ,victoria ,and western tasmania.Eventually heading back to WA to spawn once mature, completing the cycle.WA is the only state that nets the schools, the commercials net mature spawners and they get used for cray bait and cat food.
you guys are funny and you get on well and you talk well, but you killed so many animals called fish, you know overall one or 2 to keep then let the rest back would show you as really good people, anyway ??????

Great day out guys, I love the way you bounce off each other, happy days..
Adam Brown thanks mate
I never fished squid during day, allways during night. It must be fun to do that during day like you. Thanks for this interresting video
Great day out. Great fun. Lots of different species, which is what makes Western Port great. Never launched at Flinders. Might have to give it a go.
Squid 👍 stabi craft👌 PW love your work mate
Great stuff Rod, missed your vids, they are critical to my fishing life particularly when I’m not fishing! Thanks mate.

Yes mate, we use Sony's. Hot tip though - they don't like salt water ;)
How many whiting did ya get

thanks.
Howdy y'all from Texas in the US. I really enjoyed watching your video. I've never seen squid fishing. Is the only part you eat the tentacles?
The whole thing except the head and guts
Oh hell yeah!
What rod are you using for gummy shark
You eat the small calamari, the big ones can eat you - like the Humboldt.
who does the opening music track?
What size boat do you think you could launch at Flinders???
It really depends on the tide and wind and your personal skills/confidence Lindsay, Baby Stabi is a 2050 and launched easy.
@@ifishtv Many thanks. Will def go and have a look. Is a good excuse to hunt for the winter whiting.
how deep were you fishing? looked like you were on the island side?
yes we fished the island side as well as near Flinders
Whats the thing sticking up in the air next to the outboard motor?

@@ifishtv Just looked them up. Amazing technology these days. Love your work :)
Western port Fing is da best
I caught a squid with nothing but my hands ones that’s when I found out they have a tooth haha and yes they draw blood
That's epic! Their tooth (also known as their "beak" ) can do some serious damage!
Haha it wasn’t as big as them I was fishing of the shore and it swam straight in front of me so I picked it up and it wrapped it’s tentacles around my fingers and i felt it bite my dad thought it was hilarious 😂
those are the smallest salmon i have ever seen. Even the big one you got was tiny compared to the ones we catch in WA
Rylee Vulich you’ve probably never caught a fish
@@samuel888_j6 cheek out my facebook account dickhead my profile picture is me holding a 9kg salmon. Spelt the same way it is on youtube
