That underwater footage is amazing. I'd sit and watch underwater footage like that for an hour straight no worries. It's just interesting to see what happened when you burley up and how the fish hit the bait

You may want to read the regs re:- towing any net behind a boat in victoria. Look it up ASAP and let us know what u can and can't do. You called it a tumbler bag, are the authorities going to call it a net ?
Hi mate finally got a boat and looking at going squid ding for the first time from a boat where in south Australia would be the best for a new to boat squidder go keep in mind I'm four hours from the closest sea fishing mate cheers
Unfortunately it is hard to tell whether one has laid it's eggs or not, but that is the risk you take with all species when fishing. The southern calamari fishery is very well looked after though, so don't worry - there'll be plenty of squid to catch for years to come!
Just want to say in the episodes if it’s possible can you always Specify the-centimetres of ya catch & it was an Ep. In S.A. U caught quite a big Whiting & U mentioned the kg’s or pounds,Hence,I’m5k’s from Port Phillip bay,Be Grouse tobe compare P.P. Bay Compared to S.A’s👌🏼Whiting. Can’t Stress enough The state of the bay,Since Fisheries abolished,disbanded 90% of Professional-Netting- Licenses in Port-Phillip Bay. My best Whiting in PP bay beauty & in less than 5mtrs of water. Q.Are ‘All’ Professional Netting Licences disbanded,Or are there any Pro Netters Fishing in Port Phllp Bay Still?Active??

I fish on reef so I think 30lb braid with 50 lb leader is around optimal
I really miss living on the Peninsula and bagging out on the squid. Think about moving back next to the bay a lot. Nice vid mate.
