I saw the 200 yesterday for the first time. It was set up as a background on a outdoor show. But the versatillaty was what imprested me immediatly. I had to look better. Just as you point out in the video. The only downside is it's weight. For a 2 pers tent 3+ kg is a lot. But the what you get is nothing more to wish for. Maybe ideal for motorbike camping? I'm a cyclist. The packsize is not the problem, that exepteble, but 2 kg is my max for a tent. The floor may be waterproof, but my experince is that conduction make your gear (sleepingmat) wet with condenswater. So a extra groundsheet is even more weight. No go for me. A shame. It's a great tent with a lot potential. And price does'nt break the bank too
I've got the Vango Tryfan 200 and it performs well in rain and and damp conditions. Have you found that the wind gets under the shaped ends and lifts it? I've only used it in moderate conditions so far.
Hi, HNY !
Just bought this for £138.00..
I think i may have bought a decent tent for that price, do you still like it ?
hi, hav u tested it in heavy rain?
@@freedommusicireland7398 no not yet sorry..
I’ve found it to withstand heavy rain very well. It’s not so great in high winds, and does blow about quite a bit.
Also, yes, we use this tent a lot. It’s a small, weekend tent that isn’t so small. And two of us put it up in about five minutes.
hi, have you tested it in heavy rain? thanks
Thank you for this review, was really helpful.

Sorry for my poor english. I'm dutch
@@brandweerquest It would be good for two bikepackers and split the weight. That makes 1.8kg each and plenty of room.
We mostly car camp, so weight isn’t a consideration. It is definitely not a backpacking tent though.

Yeah, I’d say its one downside is that it’s not great in high winds. It doesn’t lift as you describe, but the sides just blow in and the layers touch.
I've turned my volume way up and can still hardly hear a word you are saying.
Peace
