Hi Sandra It's Annie thank you for this video your encouraging words are always welcomed and needed. It is a sad truth that no one really cares how you are or feel these days even family or close friends. There is an old saying the older generations always said it and I heard it a lot growing up....Cry and you cry alone....Laugh and the world laughs with you! how true it is!. I congratulate you on your lovely book too it looks very helpful and fun to read. I don't shop on the internet at present, is it available in shops? And you are looking fabulous so radiant and that lovely smile of yours is so welcoming, you are a true angel!
TH-cam is also my outlet every evening. No family and very few friends. I hope when I retire in a few years I will add some wonderful people to my life.
"Nobody really cares if you're miserable and you are 100% in charge of your life". Truer words have never been spoken. This explains how easy it is to find people to help us celebrate, but impossible to find people to walk through grief with us. Ultimately, we are responsible for our own happiness ~ no one else is. Thank you for this reminder, Sandra. You look wonderful. Stay sweet!
Nobody cares if you are miserable, nobody cares if you are in pain, nobody cares if you are chronically ill etc etc. The individual must be positive. Happiness comes from being grateful for the small things and achievements; each day is a blessing.
You & hubby were the first people I thought of when the condominium collapsed. Since I dont know anyone living in Miami!! Many prayers offered up for those affected by the collapse 🙏💔

We really do have to be grateful for what we have now. I know I have a lot to be happy about. Thank-you for reminding me. ♥

@@carrie-joylloyd5785 Hi Carole, I completely understand what you are saying as I have very high anxiety, claustrophobia and other things that plague me. I am 70 years old and could not drive due to my anxiety. Just recently I chose to take a leap of faith and trust that I could possible do it so I drove one mile to Walmart. I was prepared that if I made it there and couldn’t get back home I would walk home. Thankfully I made it back! I could only stay in Walmart about 20 minutes because I was so anxious about getting back home. I was elated with myself that I did it, even though it was a baby step, it was a step. I have driven to that same Walmart one more time since. I am not ready to drive on a regular basis or get out on the main roads but I believe I will get there. It is amazing what we can accomplish, so much more than we thing. I don’t feel I will ever be able to get in an airplane or ride an elevator but I was able to pray my way through taking that short drive to Walmart. I just had to choose to give it a try. Anxiety can be totally debilitating, I have lived it for 50 years, but there is hope for small baby steps to more freedom. I just wanted to offer you hope and encouragement and let you know I truly understand what you are saying. Love, Sheila

Dear Sandra, today I am thankful for your wisdom. God bless you. I hope to learn to be such a beautiful, gracious and kind person. It is so beautiful to learn from you.
What happened in Florida last summer was so tragic, and what you and your friends did in tribute to those lost was perfect. It's true that no one really cares if you're miserable. I remember my grandmother saying "Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone."
So true! No one cares if you are miserable. Do something about it if you are ! I have to remind myself to treat myself kindly at times too. Really enjoy your thoughts.

I always appreciate your advice, sweet Sandra. I think the most important tip and the one that must preceed the others is the tip you covered, when talking about your book. It is... Know thyself and to thy ownself be true. If we don't discover who we are and what truly makes us happy, following all of the other tips will fail, because they will be built on a false foundation. You are so wise. Thank you for writing a book that will help make that discovery. Blessing to you and Arthur!
Thank you again for inspiring us to create a better life for ourselves (and those around us). I think one item I'm adding to you list of quick tips - is Tip: Give of yourself. When we give to others it always comes back as a blessing to us!

Hello Sandra it's wonderful to see you again. You look wonderful, a true beauty in & out. I so need your book. It's rough season in most of our lives, some of us are grieving and need inner smiles. I went to run an errand in town & my car wouldn't start so was a little stuck. I went for a walk there through our little town before I attempted to try it again ( did eventually start & took it right to the shop). Being a tiny tourist town in the smokies I found myself walking among a lot of people & had a huge frowm; I forced a small smile and eventually found it natural as I passed people. It works to smile even when you don't want to. Of course wishes for your safety & all our loved ones in path of Ella, much of my family is in South Florida. Thank you for everyone's continued prayers for the collapse tragedy in Surfside. A former coworker a lovely woman, her husband and son are among the missing there. Also another coworker's cousin. Tragedy tugs our hearts deeply. We need to find peace of body and mind each day. As soon as I open my eyes I thank God for another day. Gratefulness is a step. Wishing you all a wonderful week. 💕
I am so sorry to hear about your coworkers husband and son. I have a friend who lost four relatives in that collapse. They were all visiting from up north. We are still mourning this terrible tragedy. Isn’t it amazing how contagious a smile can be❤️
@@lifewithsandrahart oh Sandra I'm so sorry. Yes, she's missing too. The 3 of them. The Miami herald wrote a piece on them june26th. Their son had been there with them a few months. I think it's touched most people there in the area one way or another. When you lose someone to disease you usually have a bit of ...never preparation but .. you know what a mean, this is horrific. Sending love to you and yours, to all your subscribers and those grieving. 💙
Hi Sandra, there are so many terrible tragedies around the world every day. It was so horrible what happened in Florida and also here at home where an entire small town and villages around burned to the ground and took two lives with it. Every day we are bombarded with these kinds of things and the people around us also come with their own sad tales. I find some people have lived for decades and they still haven't learned any tools for remaining positive and moving forward. Life today is very challenging but is made worse when we choose to wallow in it or if not wallow it is equally bad when we don't try and do something to change things for the better. Sometimes it can be a long while before we get out of a bad situation so I do understand how challenging it can be to be patient and remain optimistic. I'm so glad you've taken time to share with people how we can find happiness for ourselves. We all need tools and also reminders. Have a wonderful weekend ahead.
To lose an entire village is just as tragic as this collapse that we had here in Florida. Sometimes you wonder why things happen like this. We just have to live for today and enjoy and be grateful for what we have. Prayers for all those who are suffering or have lost their lives and such tragedies❤️

You always have the best advice, Sandra! I've been feeling a little down lately, and when I woke up this morning and turned to look at my husband, I felt so grateful to have him beside me. We really do have to be grateful for what we have now. I know I have a lot to be happy about. Thank-you for reminding me. ♥

Smiling, laughing, and thinking of what we are grateful for, really are great ideas! You give such good advice and I appreciate it.
Sandra i am so grieved for the loss of precious lives in the building collapse near you. The suffering..the unknown..the fear. I thank God for those who are working so hard to deal with this. I pray all who lost their lives and those affected will turn to God in this tragedy. Thank you for your kindness and encouragement. You are a bright light light in my days..I have had 78 years of wonderful and troubling days...I am very blessed and comforted by my faith..my first Daughter in remission with ovarian cancer. Mary,, I'm sorry you and your family have to go this tough time, so much to handle at once. God will give you the grace to weather it and help those around you to do the same. You, of 78 years, are a good role model. Many Blessings!
Mary I am so sorry that you have children and grandchildren around you who are fighting aggressive illnesses. Life often brings us things that we can’t understand. Please know that guy and the rest of my subscribers will be praying for you and for the wellness and healing of those around you who are fighting for their lives. Blessings Your Way, Mary❤️
Hi Sandra, wonderful common sense tips Sandra. I think a state of happiness is a choice. Our attitude and the way we choose to look at things makes all the difference in how we feel. If we remain grateful misery can’t set in, in my humble opinion. Much love, Sheila
Sheila, you always have a smile and radiate happiness.❤️
Depression and Anxiety are difficult to control and trust me Nobody wants it but it can strike anyone at anytime and it’s extremely difficult to do the things suggested here but, l’m going to try.x
Sandra, you have become part of my morning meditation. I love and appreciate your beautiful, kind attitude and your zest for life. Just purchased your book and I excited to read it.
Dear Sandra, today I am thankful for your wisdom. God bless you. I hope to learn to be such a beautiful, gracious and kind person. It is so beautiful to learn from you.
Thank you so very much. You are very kind❤️
Thank you dear Sandra, for being a positive light to us all.
Thank you so much❤️
What happened in Florida last summer was so tragic, and what you and your friends did in tribute to those lost was perfect. It's true that no one really cares if you're miserable. I remember my grandmother saying "Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone."
What a wise grandmother you had
That was sooo Sad! I Pray for Peace & Comfort for all the Families & Friends in the Days Ahead!
Today, we still think about that tragedy
So true! No one cares if you are miserable. Do something about it if you are ! I have to remind myself to treat myself kindly at times too. Really enjoy your thoughts.
Thank you so much❤️
You are a marvellous lady with so much compassion which I believe you have been growing inside your heart all these years in your life.
Thank you for that lovely thought❤️

You are so kind!💕
Looks like a great book! My life is centered around giving thanks and gratitude. Critters bring me joy! I love doing cross stitch. Relaxing.
I love animals, too.❤️
thank you for your time, and GOD BLESS
I always appreciate your advice, sweet Sandra. I think the most important tip and the one that must preceed the others is the tip you covered, when talking about your book. It is... Know thyself and to thy ownself be true. If we don't discover who we are and what truly makes us happy, following all of the other tips will fail, because they will be built on a false foundation. You are so wise. Thank you for writing a book that will help make that discovery. Blessing to you and Arthur!
That is really true. Two that I own self be true❤️
Smile and be happy lives of other people and makes him happy is the way to give them love and joy from the heart🥰💜💙💕
We all should be doing this every single day. True
Thank you again for inspiring us to create a better life for ourselves (and those around us). I think one item I'm adding to you list of quick tips - is Tip: Give of yourself. When we give to others it always comes back as a blessing to us!
Excellent❤️

Miss Sandra, today is Thanksgiving morning and I'm spending this 1:31 am watching this video. I lost my mother on August 30th from Covid. She was my last parent and I was their only child. The past few months have been the 1st time I've been completely alone. I needed this video and I thank you.

Hello Sandra,
Thank you for another beautiful video!!
I remember the joy of getting my first bicycle. Another year my parents gave me my first pair of ice skates. They were the color of snow! And my new Schwinn bike was forest green. I rode it around my neighborhood in Queens for years.
I always wished I could twirl a baton but it was fun to try.
Your ideas are wonderful and helpful.
Many more Happy Birthdays a little late because I just discovered you about 2 weeks ago. Congrats on your you tube award!!
You are what the world needs now
and always. 💐🌞🌹

Not being familiar at all with south Florida, when the news announced the Surfside's condo collapse, my first thought was fear for your safety. Each day is precious, isn't it? Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom.
It is. Each day is so precious. That’s why we should always live in the now❤️

You are an inspiration Gorgeous. God Bless you all.
Thank you for sharing your lovely advice, you look so happy and grateful, inspiring.
Thank you so much❤️
