I have been fighting 2 incurable diseases for 34 years. There have been very bad years where I have been on deaths door over 20 times. there have been good years where I have been active and served the Lord in church in counseling hurting Christians. I have raised 2 sons. My husband of my boys was unable to deal with my health problems, so thankfully my parents were always there when my health broke. I am now 58 and in a very hard time---i can honestly say through it all---it is well with my soul because of God's all encompassing love and Christ is my Saviour. How blessed I am --no matter what is thrown my way---I have 2 grandchildren--never thought I would live to see!!! Oh, it is well with my soul!!!
my prayer is for anyone who is struggling with something to listen to this message. it will touch your heart and instill a Blessed Hope for you . because we have a Great and Powerful God and nothing is too hard for him. May the Lord be with each and everyone of you now and forever. Aloha to All!
Jody's voice just gives me chills, so unique and beautiful. God gave all of them a great gift but is voice in particular just makes me go, God must have had a lot of fun crafting that voice!
His voice type is somewhat rare..its more typical in Gospel and R&B singers...the only other CCM singer I know that has a similar voice is Marty McGhee of 4him
That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. 3 For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries: 4 Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you: 5 Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead. 6 For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit. 7 But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. 8 And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. 9 Use hospitality one to another without grudging.
Indeed it is well with my soul...I have Jesus and I have hope🙌🏾

This is by far the best version to this song that I’ve ever heard. I recall first hearing it when I was in HS. 20 years later it still moves me.

very nice, very nice - but the version by Tim Wildsmith is still my favorite! :-)
Is that the New Hope Christian Church in Oklahoma?
