- Hello there and welcome back to another Halo 3 campaign mod showcase! In this video, we will be taking a look at a mod that puts you in an alternate universe, where the Grunts in Halo 3 side with the UNSC and Elites, and you are given more powerful vehicles. This is Grunt Rebellion - The Covenant, created by CryptNation!

The Grunts will now be friendly towards the UNSC, as they rebel the Covenant. They are sick and tired of the Covenant throwing grunt families into battle just to be slaughtered! They have even extracted the blueprints to the Grunt Goblin that is kindly being produced by the Swords Of Sangheios. They Will Get Their Revenge!

- Friendly Drones (From mission *Crows Nest*)

- Hawk (Halo Wars)

All Vehicles are created by "GreenKnight" and were slightly modified by "CryptNation" for campaign Use.
While it having Grunt allies is cool, everything else in this mod makes it 100x more amazing! Flying a Hawk, driving a Rhino, and controlling a Scarab were all fun and amazing ideas to introduce in this mod. I'd recommend giving it a go, have fun!

It would've been so awesome to have Grunt and Hunter separatists as your allies in Halo 3! I was so mad when I learned you couldn't fight alongside them. :(
At least it's canon in the story tho, you just never saw them in game
Yeah I guess the reason was that originally they were there in a early version of the game, but there were to many friendly fire incidents in early tests. One reason the later Swords of Sanghelios were giving a much more dramatic color scheme change, and different colors and armors were added to Covenant remnant forces. But yeah, hurt when I played Halo and all there was were Elite separatists.

from what i can see it's made from a hornet, some pelican engines, 2 vulcan chain guns and a gauss cannon it's looks baddass i'd certainly fly it if it was IRL lol

So, you're assaulting a control room on a Halo ring above the ark that activates the entire halo array.
And at the end you jump into a hole, get teleported to The Ark again, where ANOTHER halo ring is being built?
During a grunt rebellion, and being supplied by The Spirit of Fire or another ship that houses these vehicles?

Love what the modern has done with the sky, it actually looks like it's out in space which makes it feel more futuristic and adds to the imrsion without breaking the halo lore

The grunts are freed, no more cruel and unfair rights to the grunts they have now joined the rebellion where they can rebuild and have better lives, now all we need is the engineers to save so they can live better lives aswell 9:31

It would of been better if the grunts were on your side it will make more sense due to halo 2
How far did you watch into the video? There were plenty of allied grunts on the first half of the mission.

Think its better that you keep the Rebellion Grunts armor Green or Cyan Blue. That way you won't get confused of good grunts and bad grunts

A scarab versus 2 scarabs would have been a much better fight
I tried to get AI in the Grunt Scarab, However back then it was really delicate! It was another reason I put a pause on the mod.
