This is some awesome work, do you plan to distribute this firmware at some point or is it just a personal project? I have been wanting to using the Mi band display since the Band 5, but I don't have the skills or time to reverse engineer firmware. Either way impressive work.

Unfortunately, I ordered mine in China and apparently the battery is defective, so I would like to replace it. But I'm still puzzling over how to open the wristband, which you seem to have managed. I would be very grateful for an answer.
Tengo la mala suerte de tener 2 xiaomi band 8 con el error "after sales mode". Crees que exista alguna forma de forzar para reinstalar el sistema?. Porque las pulseras no tienen ningún defecto físico, al parecer es defecto de software. Agradecería tu respuesta, ya que veo que manejas bastante el tema
I clicked several times on the ver no of the about band in the settings of my mi band 8 then it took me to another screen. I clicked one thing randomly. After that my mi band started to auto touch. Can't Reboot and reset. Please help if you can😢
damn! i have chinese smartwatch and i want to put doom on it. I found a project where they use the same microcontroller as i have in the smartwatch. Where can i get help to do this? any discord or reddit group any forum? thanks
