- I Grow The Best Tropical Fruits 💛 Amazing Harvest in My Backyard Garden . Guava, Cherry 🍒, Callaloo, Peppers, Pomegranate and Soursop
We found two new kitty cats 🐈 🐱 😻 🐈⬛️ too 😃😃
We use mainly used/recycled ♻️ materials/containers to grow a large amount of fresh fruits and vegetables.
We try to be as self sufficient as possible with the foods that we can grow ourselves and encourage you to do so too. Grow your own food.

I hope they spring up soon. Is it still cold where you are?
@@FarmingOnTheRocks weather like Jamaica
@@elizclark4912 not sure why it's not doing well
@@FarmingOnTheRocks put water every day. Would that be a problem??
Jamaican Sorrel is a member of the hibiscus family.
I know but other countries have different names for it apart from sorrel
Blessed morning Marie 🌄
Good morning!
Oh my those bugs on the pomegranate
Mi fraid a dem yuh si 😆
@@FarmingOnTheRocks 🤣mi fraid just watching, I imagine you lol
The kittens look up on you with such adoration 😂❤
Oh yes
oo kalau itu disini disebut buah srikaya, buahnya berbiji banyak tapi manis
OK thanks for sharing 👍
Hi Marie am so glad to see your garden , you are doing a great job regardless of the rocks, I was wondering do you sell the callaloo
seeds if you do am interested in getting both colors please.
Thank you so much. No I don't sell seeds. I don't have the means to supply the demand at this time
In the States Americans who don't know this plant or don't like to eat it, plant it as a sacrificial plant because the bugs will eat all the callaloo (amaranth) and leave the squash and cucumber alone. But we Caribbean people would never leave it let stink bugs eat it off lol
No we gonna eat it lol 😋
@@FarmingOnTheRocks Yuh betta! They looked so nice, full and fresh!
Fried dumplings?👀
Yup
❤ cat 🐈
Me too
Your garden is awesome , love the little kittens. Did I hear you right those red greens will be ready again in just two days ? You guys eat so healthy
Yes, they will be ready again in two days. Thank you so very much
@@FarmingOnTheRocks That is awesome
Marie where do you get purple calaloo seed from it’s beautiful 😍
I bought the seedlings from a store a found on Instagram but they close down. I see them on Facebook Marketplace though
I tasted that guava when you bite into it 😢yummy 😋 ❤
Wow! Nice!
I was told that ants are responsible for the pollination on the soursop plant
That's debatable, I've grown soursops with absolutely no ants on the plant
Hi where did you get your pink guava plant from. I bought one from Forestry dept but the leaves dried up because of the extreme heat two weeks ago. Need to replace it.
My daughter's friend gave it to me a while back
In the Spanish world the sorrel is called Jamaica.
Really?!
That is custard apple not pomegranate.
Listen carefully to what I said. I said I was on my way to the pomegranate tree but had to stop at the sweetsop. Because sweetsop is what is called in Jamaica 🇯🇲
@@FarmingOnTheRocksSorry, I misheard. My bad. But y'know what, I think that's a Sugar Apple not a Custard Apple.
I am Jamaican, by birth, and spent the first 12 years of my life in Jamaica. I remember what is a Sour Sop but I'm not sure what is a Sweet Sop.
I seem to remember this fruit as being called a Sugar Apple but I know Jamaica 😊 and it's very likely that it could also be called Sweet Sop in different parts of the country.
@@skyelark5511 that's ok
Yes it is also known as sugar apple especially in Asian countries. Jamaica has a name for everything 😆 have a fantastic day 😊
Sorrel = Groseille-pays
Thanks so much
