Good walkthrough. I just got this on console and my siege towers and battering rams were getting instantly destroyed by their ballista. Turns out it was because I was placing my own ballista on the field first which triggers their attacks.
@@SpartanSteve playing it on the series x and it's fantastic, load times are actually pretty fast tbh. Only time they might take more than 10 seconds is when you engage in a huge army battle. Fps is also a solid 60fps most of the time which surprised me considering how many troops there are on the screen at once.
Real chads don't join the kingdom, but besiege stuff on their own. But i gotta say, it got harder in final version to do that then previously, you need a lot more money to piece them out. I am clan level 2 and i taken Onira (city) on my own from rebels, situation was 121 vs 326 it was a close call, but worth it, only 5 guys left alive at the end
my troops cant be ordered to use certain seige equipment. they all rush to the same thing or ignore when i order them to take a catapult. IS THEIR NO GUIDE OF HOW TO ACTUALLY CONTROLL YOUR TROOPS DURING SEIGE???
Great video! Hopefully I get a response to this. So I just got the game this week with no prior experience before. I joined another army for a raid. Most of my standing army is horse archers. It didn't allow me to bring them in. So It only spawned myself, 2 swordsman and an archer unit. (Mind you own 25 swords, 30 horse archers, 3 companions and 10 archers) What determines the units I can use? I have a mission now to take a castle on my own, but I'm not sure how to attack with my current unit comp.
Hi! So based off what ur saying i would like to guess that u may have a cap on your solider limit to spawn and it took the main guys army first before yours spawn in. For the siege itself your horse archers should(key word right there, I hvent played this in a bit) spawn in without there horses and act as regular archers
I been having to use wound command because no matter what my troops of 167 80% of them are level 4 or 5 get rekt by militia troops. so I’m often required so go on solo to snipe archers but less then half the archer kills count as actual deaths

I think I found the reason and solution to our problem people. The reason why troops don't use siege towers is because of your troop count on the battlefield if it's lower then 102 they won't use the siege towers until the battering ram gets destroyed and even then they don't use both they use one siege towers until that one gets destroyed and then they go to the next one. Stupid npcs, another thing I think troop count is counted by your settings on gameplay by unit spawn prioritization if you have more low level units it's better if you choose low level if you have more high level units it's better if you go high level, and for reinforcement wave count go unlimited. I'm positive on the first reason as to why your troops don't use both siege towers because I tested it in custom battles however I'm still unsure what effects the troop count in sieges if somebody could test with all low level troops and adjust their unit spawn prioritization to low level and put unlimited to see if you get the full troop count that.
So I'm setting up my siege. My ram is the only one that has troops assigned to it. I also have two towers I wanna use. How do I assign them to someone? I started the battle the the troops next to my towers just stood there. Thanks!
The troops should be standing next to it getting ready to push it or you have to assign them before you start the battle. It's been a while hvent played in year
Got it, thanks! But actually that's where I'm having a problem is that I don't know how to assign them to the siege works before the battle. I see a blue cog icom above the tower but I can't figure out how to add troops. Anyway, thanks for the reply and for putting out the video 👍
@lafamiliahernandez3015 hmm, you can't drap the flag or the unit over to assign it? Or when your in the fight can you order them next to the towers? Np bud good luck
you can build your own siege units during the siege. Also have someone in your party that has a high siege skill so you can attack them faster before they can build catas
@@michaelzimmer1597 if you in a siege the lord has that covered. (if I remember correctly) you should be able to assign a party member to be the main guy for a siege

I built 2 siege towers and my soldiers didn’t use either and my siege camp takes so long to built the ai can built all 4 fire catapult

Has to be in settings, I hv it on max, don't remember the exact thing to do but should be army limit or something like that

Is there anyway to counter their catapults? They took out like 200 troops from my team because of this.
