Shaun, you and Brad are two of my favorites and even though you both have slightly different forms of presentation, when you two come together it just makes sense. The friendship and comradery is genuine. Loved this bucket trip and can't wait for the next one.
@@TheStoryTillNow I'm a fan of both channels too, but I appreciate the use of metric. Although here in Australia we use psi for tyres. And we say zed for z.
Both your and Brad’s videos of this trip have been amazing. Sean, I truly think you’re the BEST 4wd/off-road cinematographer on TH-cam. Truly amazing job!
Such an awesome series, Shaun (and Brad). Those drone shots to try to capture the vastness of the Grand Canyon just really wraps a bow on this epic journey. Thank you both for sharing! Glad this trip to AZ wasn't as damaging to anyone but the kayak's spirits.
Greetings from the other side of the pond! Living in the East Midlands here in England, sadly we don’t have anything like the trails you guys have… WOW WOW WOW Shaun I’ve watched the whole series bucket trip. I have to say you and Brad really made it special.. it was absolutely amazing to watch, so being there and making this trip must have been something so perfect! I have my own 14 day trip to Ireland planned at Easter and at the moment I’m scouring through maps and sat nav to find a few woodland and mountain trails and places to wild camp! Now seeing this video has made me want to get out somewhere sooner! Time to make more adventures I think…. Thanks guys for giving me the inspiration to get out there!! Drew
That is the most incredible view i have ever seen on a screen. Thats as awesome as when we stood on top of the Islands in thee Sky in Canyonlands. I really need to camp right there. Thank you for sharing..
When I moved to Arizona 45 years ago my kids and I actually went to Grand Canyon Airline and actually flew into the canyon. WOW🥰👏. Since then they stopped planes from flying down into the canyon. The best part was flying back up and out. DOUBLE WOW!!!!!!!!!!!
I went out there two years ago and when sunset hit, the red highlights on the rocks all around glowed until the sun disappeared. There's actually a trail there that goes down to the river.
What a truly amazing adventure to share with your followers! I live in Washington state but I have been in many of the same areas that you travel and they beautiful. Thanks again for sharing I always enjoy your videos 👍👍.
Another great episode 👏 I'm loving the new hats ! Let's get back to the time when everyone wore them and valued morals and family values ! Keep on trucking!
Great adventure guys! Thanks to you and onX for sharing. Big Brad and his white steed chasing that Scoundral Shaun with his black stallion across the Arizona Landscape 🤠🤠 And zero miles paddled... 🥶
Video could not have come at a better time. Have a long weekend planned and doing a similar route next week. Funny to see the onyx line up pretty dam close with our route!
Thanks for an absolutely stunning new video. Amazing drone footage as always, and all in all an amazing trip! All the best from your Norwegian subscribers.
Your drone footage is on point as usual! 😍🤩🙌. Absolutely stunning sunset captures. The Grand Canyon pan and pullback was something so special. Loving to see your truck travels as much as the gladiator 👍
You guys are totally awesome! Love ALL your adventures!!! You’ve given me MANY places to check out. I absolutely love the southwest. When you guys went to the lava fields in Az that was amazing! It’s ON my bucket list! You are both two of my absolute FAVS! Rock ON!! 👏👏👏
Its a pity theres not two bucket tripz a year guys as you do such a grsat job of them but theres onviously a time commitments n money compunent too thank you ever so much for taking us along on your wonderouz trips of a life time
What a spectacular campsite to finish. I have thoroughly enjoyed the journey and enjoyed the 2 different perspectives from the both of you. I look forward to the next collaboration between you both. A trip with both of your partners would be amazing too.
Wow what an incredible trip! Those camp spots were amazing! Especially the last one! Absolutely enjoy watching yours and brads videos and getting both perspectives
Welcome to my area! I live here at the Grand Canyon and Arizona is my home. I would love to come up and check out your area sometime. Both of you have awesome content and I love following your stories! Enjoy your bucket trip in my home state.
Amazing job capturing an amazing adventure! You are Brad are my favorite channels. So happy for you two, and your truck didn't Break! Being that I live in Arizona, I'm going to have to camp at that last site! Where to next?
It just makes me realize how lucky I was growing up in Vegas. I’ve been at that North Rim camp site 3 times. As well as a couple other spots farther west. I’ve been off roading the southwest since 1991. I just took it for granted.
I rarely comment but the shots/cinematography was amazing in this video. Congratulations on a beautifully shot video. I’ll need to go back to some of your other videos and check them out.
I swear I think not only does our phones listen to us on marketing for Facebook etc, but I think the same must occur with TH-cam :D As just yesterday my lady tells me that it's been her dream to go visit the Grand Canyon. And I'm like sure, as I did a cross country trip last year to The Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. And the Grand Canyon is also on my bucket list. Then I log into youtube today and the very first video that is listed as a 'suggestion' is this one. Subscribed and thanks for sharing this adventure.
Hi Shaun, I just wanted to say how much I enjoy your videos-they’re always so interesting and immersive, which is fantastic. What amazes me the most is that they never get boring, no matter how many I watch! One thing I’ve always appreciated about your work is your amazing and delicate approach to editing -it’s been such a strong part of your style. That’s why I wanted to share a small observation about your recent videos. It feels like the colors are a bit overdone, with perhaps a bit too much tonal adjustment. The places you visit are so stunningly beautiful on their own that, in my opinion, they don’t need much enhancement at all. Keep up the great work - looking forward to seeing where you go next!
You gotta love that kayak.. Saw Brads video yesterday, both pretty cool videos. I was out that way last year although I camped at the bottom of the Grand Canyon down the almost 20 mile dirt road out of Peach Springs ($21.40 for the permit), I was the only person there that night at the campground, by the way air down before hitting that dirt road or the washboards will rattle your fillings out. If you don't have a decent air pump you can fill up at the store next to where you got the permit.
Loved seeing both perspectives of this series. I’m pretty sad this one is ending. I plan on doing some of this route as far as the lake Roosevelt up to the Grand Canyon this spring.
Excellent adventure! Shame about not being able to go through the Navajo portion of the trail. Fantastic content nonetheless! Looking forward to y'all's next adventure!
I’ll have to go back and look at your kayak set up. I’m trying to figure out how to hold two with my Ramcharger. Most likely a rack similar to what Wranglers use but attached at the back bumper and sliders. Had to be removable to get the hard top on for winter.
Appreciate the video. Very well done. Recently visited the last compsite with my son on a 4 day journey of our own. That is a special site and I hope considering the size of both your channels that it can remain that way if you know what I'm suggesting 😉shhhhhh. I would hate to see that spot overrun within a year. Folks who can read maps and put the work in will find it. We saw a herd of pronghorn on the way out. Really neat seeing that spot with drone footage. Its so dead quiet out there I woke up in the middle of the night and swore I heard distant drum beats coming from across the canyon (Navajo land). Being able to hear the Colorado several thousand feet below was also a treat. Happy you enjoyed our state of AZ.
Thanks for tagging us along. Looks like a great trip. You could've used your kayak at the end in Antelope Valley/Lake Powell or Wahweap (on the water, right on the border)areas near Paige AZ. Next Time. Thank You nevertheless.
Im planning to head that way in spring break, it would be great to spend a night on that last spot, is just amazing. Can you share the location 🙏. Great drone footage!!!!
Looks like another EPIC trip boys! I love it!! I think that you need to come east!! The terrain and the scenery will not be as epic.. but Id still love to see you on the east. I live vicariously through your adventures and need to get out on more!!!
Hey Shaun. Love your videos and you and Brad make a good team. If you have not yet named your kayak, I have a suggestion fo.lowi g this trip. The Albatross! I have done the same thing on much shorter trips. It was cracking me up every time you struggled to get that thing down! Keep making videos!
OK, in NW PA, 23 degrees, the latest life effect snowstorm is just getting going. Wine, fire in the woodstove, hit play on the video. First, the video....epic, speechless, holyyy shit!!! This was one of the best ever, drone, soundtrack, no words. Second, the hats.....nice. Got my first Stetson in Steamboat Springs a million years ago. You have to have one, just have to. Third, how is it you two haven't starved to death on the trail? Brad, Marco has a cookbook, invite him along, you guys could get pre trip cooking lessons or something? The food is just sad. Finally.....thank you.
I worked at a place that had an 88 ft high tower that I use to climb on a regular basis. It had those grating stairs that made for an uncomfortable optical illusion where your eyes would struggle with whether to focus on the stairs surface or the ground so I had a bit of a flashback when you were on the fire lookout.
Amazing videos - honestly absolutely stunning! Visited AZ last summer. With this whole bucket trip, I want you guys to go global. Ship the cars over to Mongolia and do a video series there. I truly believe mongolia has the craziest views and there are literally no roads there. Now thats a bucket trip!
Shaun, thank you! Thank you for not identifying such spots by name/location. I too sidelined there when i finished my solo traverse of the AZBDR 3 yrs ago. Only human there that night. I never saw another person till the next day....back at the tarmac. Easy enough to find...easy enough to get to...but the fact that most dont even know it exists or its location is what makes it special. BTW, no White Pocket? Man, you gotta come back! Maybe a Meet and Greet? Hint Hint.....
Next time you guys are in the area of the Grand Canyon you gotta make your way down to Sedona, incredible views there. It is about 2 hours south of the area you guys were at.
Went to KC 2 days ago. I missed you guys up there by a week LOL. I got my new Titan 50 inch light bar and 2titans for ditch lights and a shirt LOL! I was going to video for my TH-cam channel after they told me I could video anything I wanted.but I was so excited I only got me entering KC 🤦🏻♂️🥺 Thank you and Brad for your inspirational content 💪🏻🤟🏻❤️
Another awesome video. Again, thanks for sharing the route. Also, the cowboy hats have to stay. You need to wear them in every episode going forward. I greatly appreciate the work that goes into bringing us this content and I look forward to what you do in 2025. ❤️
Looks like a great time love the sun set and the full moon rise!were was that last camp spot can you show me how you got there? EPIC TRIP. Thank you for the vista's.
Thanks for another beautiful Bucket Trip video, Shaun. I'm also anticipating your next one. I enjoy you and Brad. Where do you get the music from? I'm assuming it's a service you pay for but I would love to access that beautiful instrumental audio.
Wow! Great series man! Next time, lose the kayak!! lol 😅. Must have been frustrating to remove it and reinstalling it every day. Incredible drone shots and storytelling. I could feel your emotions standing on the edge of the Grand Canyon. Almost made me cry. The chemistry between you and Brad is incredible.

This is an incredible beautiful cinematic 4k video Shawn. Epic 5 star production!!! Kudos to ya man, you knocked it out of the park this time!
Thanks! I really appreciate you saying that!
@TheStoryTillNow Nat Geo quality video of the canyon. We were very impressed!
It makes me very happy that the old hanger is still standing. It’s been 20 yrs since I’ve been there.

Dude amazing visuals... that opening shot with the rig is amazing. That pair up with the color.. love it.
Wow, Spectacular scenery Shaun. Amazing trip.
Cinematic bliss… your “Dronography” is amazing!
I went out there two years ago and when sunset hit, the red highlights on the rocks all around glowed until the sun disappeared. There's actually a trail there that goes down to the river.
Love seeing spots like this and trying to find them on the map. Navajo Mountain just barely visible at 17:28 gave it away!
This is absolutely perfect. I felt like part of this journey.
best part starting with 11:21

Hi, Do you have gpx file for this location, any information about this location, This place is so beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

Great, epic trip! Great company!
Amazing trip…would love to follow parts of your route.
Wow! Great series man!
Next time, lose the kayak!! lol 😅. Must have been frustrating to remove it and reinstalling it every day.
Incredible drone shots and storytelling.
I could feel your emotions standing on the edge of the Grand Canyon. Almost made me cry. The chemistry between you and Brad is incredible.
you should do the north of QC with the baie james !
I reckon the next adventure with Brad would be good in Canada and throw in some shelf roads.
