Do those Kohlers usually smoke on startup? I've had many Deere tractors but they all had a Kawasaki.
The last one I had didnt, I cleaned the carb on this one and it lessened it quite a bit but still smokes a little on startup when cold, I think its just getting too much fuel
I'm looking to get a used one from the guy down the road to use as a landscaper trailer hauler. Nothing to heavy. Just brush and shit. He said Kohlers are know to puff smoke on startup. It has 450 hours. He's asking $1000.
mine is a cv23s thats in it, has almost 600 hours on it and still runs good, I think they are decent motors the last one I had was a single cylinder cv12, good motor but no where near the power output of this one.

I have a 2002 LT150 Automatic. 15 HP Kohler. Great tractor, but the deck is getting welded. Can't wait to try it out this season! :D
not bad man, you got any vids of it up? I like this one, for what it is it cuts grass just fine its better than my craftsman was
I most certainly will upload some once the grass grows.
I have An E140 I work like it was a compact tractor. I fitted a 40" tractor shovel to
the front & have 2" trailer hitch receivers front & rear primarily to fit my 2500lb
winch But the back one gets a lot of trailering work. I replaced the turf tires on the
back w AG tires & upgraded the factory hydro-static trans w a K66 garden tractor
trans. it drags trees, cuts grass, moves dirt, sprays, pulls my wagon around our
property full of the tools I need for whatever job I'm doing. Its a nice little tractor.
That K66 project was a big expense. I came real close to trading the E140 for a
Husky TS-248 XD. That will be my next one if they still make it whenever this one
dies.

The the grass looks good, but u gotta get rid of that shoot. More grass can come out and the grass won't clump.
It will fling grass all over the place including all over me. I've done that.
Hank's Garage I met just taking the back plastic off and leave the metal shield on. Sorry.....
Oh there is no metal shield its just the plastic flapper chute on it
Really? My la115 has (had) a plastic chute and it broke off and the there was just that metal piece. BTW can u do a vid on how to adjust the speed on a Honda engine?

+Sean “S3EN” Slater hard to say I have a preferred one or brand for personal use. I like hondas push mowers but in all honesty as long as it runs and cuts grass good enough it's fine with me. I do have more of a lean towards commercial grade push mowers though
I always used my riding lawn mower, but after getting the newer Honda push mower, i never have used my riding mower again.
+Sean Slater I use a push mower now for just trimming up what the rider can't get. I used to do all that grass with a pusher though before I got a rider. What I love about the rider is its a lot more comfortable to drink beer and drive it lol

great shots and wow nice lookin' day! that mower reminds me of the LT120 i think it was I used to always rip around on years ago when I lived on the big farm. they are pretty fun machines.

My John Deere 332 Diesel never smoked that bad on startup
+Grayson Reichert these kohlers all smoke on start it seems. I believe it has to do with the stem seals going bad. But hell its got almost 600 hours on it
Hank's Small Engine Repair in My l130 its 23 HP and bygger Wheels and IT has go in 380 hours...
when will there be a fixing mower video up on one of the recent trash picked lawnmowers
within the next 2 weeks they are not selling right now so it hasnt been a priority
