This Goofy Goobers Theory reminds me of McDonalds, but not from today's day and age, from back in the early 90s and whole of the 80s. There was always something about McDonalds that creeped me out. And, the commercials for the place were super weird and made my skin crawl with how overly happy and crazy about McDonalds the kids were. Especially, when Ronald McDonald, the clown mascot, came out to hang out with them. He was the worst thing about those commercials. And, to all the Millennials in the comment section, you KNOW what I'm talking about when I say that the chicken nuggets were WAY different tasting than they are today. They are made from white meat now, but back then they were made from dark meat. Really greasy, but extremely addicting, to the point that your whole outlook on life would change if your mother told you that you guys were going to McDonalds for dinner. It was like the sun came out from behind a rainbow and you felt like nothing was going to go wrong. But, if you acted up in the car, she would threaten you with going home and having no McDonalds. Kids in the car would literally start screaming like the Apocalypse just happened in front of their faces. It's better now that the clown is gone, and it's become more of a family restaurant, instead of just a kids' place, but we will never forget those old days, when the creep factor was ranked up to Cult Level.
