That's a nod to Dave, his idol, doing the same "oh hi Ed" years ago to McMahon on the Tonight Show with Johnny....in the middle of the joke build-up....
I "bet" this is the time Conan found Norm crying in the dressing room before the show after losing "a lot of money and inconsolable" while watching the game he just betted on.
Does Norm do stand-up like this? I've looked at his TV appearances a lot and he always seem to rant about a story and it's fuckin funny. He could so an hour special easy. On a personal not though, could people on the Internet stop saying epic? It's doesn't mean what it's supposed to anymore.
@luzzerylavender I heard the old guy that told him that in that movie ''dirty work'' was really talking shit to norm during the movie thats why he was laughing and they just left it in the movie movie cuz the old guy could'nt stop..lol
"You like to read that paper and think of them jokes."
"The news paper?"
"Yeah, the news paper -- that's the one I meant."
They are perfect together!
I love Norm's excessively long jokes
They are gems. No one comes close.
"Some of us are short and have weird, big heads" rofl hahaha awesome
I don't know who you are conanfan33 but I luv you! You're my new best friend. Thanks so much helping all us COCO fans endure his absence from TV.
This is absolute perfection.
greatest. interview. ever. Norm MacDonald is king.
"You dirty, dirty midget!"
"except some of us are short and have weird, big heads".
half way into it he turns to aknowledge andy, ''hi andy''

I heard Artie talk about that story I think when Norm was on Stern recently.
The band was playing Trouble by Elvis Presley, in case anyone was wondering.
I have a feeling that this wasn't the story they planned beforehand
I love a story with a happy ending.
I wish Norm had his own talk show. They'd never talk about what they were supposed to talk about but it'd be very as hell.
That actually exisits
He had one for a while. It's on TH-cam

Midgets does sound less condescending than little people
one of norms best long jokes
Brilliant !!!
damn that was an awesome story
They said "Midget" 19 times.
nice... i love norm + conan!!! i miss the norm show too
RIP Norm MacDonald
That midget story is the greatest comedy piece ever!
Go look for the 'moth joke'. You may just change your mind. Either way, he was just in a class by himself.
Except some of us are short and have big heads!
"Hey you know the deficit? What the hell is that anyway?" is so vague its kills me everytime
The best part is that Norm doesn't even try to be funny. What a genius.
Norm is king!!!
No matter how many times I hear Norm tell his jokes I laugh my ass off.
That midget joke was good 🤣🤣🤣
Guess he was referring to arties "bookie" who supposedly ran off with norms money.
This was awesome. And Jesus tells alexk307 "You're Welcome".
RIP Normie.
HAhahahahaha!!!! This is glorious! Holy shmolie
Where the hell was it 81 degrees at that time of night???
@omer008 it's under my favorites on my channel
I'm a swingin' G-E-N-I-E... 8D
Wait a sec. Did Norm just plant a booger on Andy's arm on his way out?
Whats the song at the start?
So good at telling bad jokes.

A tv show with Norm in it a good name would be "ratings poison" jk I love Norm
Conan trying so hard to hide his wokeness but ultimately he realized that he is still a comedian.
@Howler54 lol you made me lol so hard
@theblasto I don't know which one is better...
@conanfan33 before he stabbed himself?
@felixramsey well thanks
@statis yeah it was like 200k
@HylianSpirit I get it.
@alexk307 He died for our sins. And this.
Does anyone know the exact date of this appearance?
Sometime in the late or early 90s
03-26-1999
@@dragon___soon 2b 25 years ago. Man, he is missed. You know that, wherever he's at now, he's got people rolling all over the place .
@@normsaunders4980 he surely is missed. i still watch him every now and again and by god is he still one of the funniest people to ever do it
@ashez2ashes very what?
I still cannot tell if Norm is a genius playing a character, or a dolt awkwardly telling street jokes. I laugh, but I really can't tell.
Did you ever decide which to believe?
@@graxjpg it's definitely genius. Norm graduated from college with a math degree at 16 and read Tolstoy every morning.
A very, very bright man.
