During durgapuja you can watch such type of big pandals more than 350 in kolkata....there have countless numbers of small pandals also...it is impossible to cover all of them in just 7 days🎃🎃.....last time I was capable to cover just 40 big pandals🙋......felling proud being a bengali,kolkatian.....durgapuja is an emotion for us🎁🎁
2019 I visited 46 pandals un Guwahati in my city ,but still 100s of pandals were left to see ,there were are 1000+ pandals total in guwahati 2019☺️,my most favourite and awaited festival, but this corona has made its scale soo small

Mudiali Club is one my favourite pandal for every year. It is same pandal where the Bollywood movie 'Kahaani' was shot in 2011. Durga Puja is a favourite time of the year. I belong to Nagpur and in 1996 got the opportunity to see Durga Puja in Kolkata due to official visit to Coal Controller of India. Durga Puja and culture of Kolkata is just awesome.

Calcutta is an amazing city. My uncles/cousins are there. I was posted there for 4 years. Since we were staying in Ballygunge, we were lucky to go around all the Pandals around. It’s amazing. This is India , let’s preserve this.

Durga puja is not a hindu festival anymore. People accross religions participate in making and celebrating the festival. Thats why it is recognized by UNESCO and is considered a festival and not religious rituals and thats what make durga puja separate than other religious rituals.. In northern states of India its still an archaic religious ritual.
although we have everyone, it's definitely a Hindu festival, just giving up identity of such crucial festival is nothing but stupid.
I miss my days in Kolkata. Me and My friends used to go Pandal Hopping till 2 in Morning & after that we used to go to Hookah lounge to end the night.
Kolkata is so lively during Durga Pooja. It's extremely crowded entire Night. Metro Services are functional throughout the Night to facilitate the crowd & travelling.
In whole west bengal ( State of India , it's a bengali populated state ) and state capital Kolkata make every year new new amazing pandal such like this video, more and more creativity with mind blowing imagination . Only kolkata city area thousands and thousands clubs arrange দুর্গাপূজা(durga puja) . And hole bengol around 50 lak club or বারোয়ারী ( "baroyari" -public puja organizer )

20 crore wala jo pandal hai, actually unhone galat bataya. Wo koi film ka set up nehi the, wo hamara west bengal me hi hai, mayapur ka iskon temple
Har gali nukkad me pandal hote hai. Mere ghar ke 3 km area me minimum 15 pandals hote hai. we will literally miss durga puja this year,😭😭. Pandals are made up of cashew, pencil, towels, bucket, utensils etc etc which you can't imagine also.
