One Mom tip I have used forever is to walk around the vehicle while it is filling with gas and pick up what I can reach to toss in the garbage at the gas station. We’ve always used the door storage as a place for garbage (wrappers and dry stuff, not sticky or gooey stuff, but that was learned). My girls learned to check their areas when we pulled in for gas and tell me that they had garbage for me to collect, so it was kind of a game. It didn’t solve all the problems, but helped keep my car garbage free.

Tip: carry a bin/plastic basket around the car to throw all the little things in, that way there aren’t a million and a half things on the lawn and when you feel up for it sort it all out!

I guess I am lucky. My 17.5 yr old son loves our car and truck so he washes them once a week and he changes oil, tires, a transmission, and he cleans them both out daily. I am blessed. You are blessed too. Happy Mother’s Day honey. God Bless

Plus I don't need cleaning inspiration. I watch because I enjoy watching you live your best life. I'm moderately disabled, so I suppose watching others live their life joyfully, brings me joy because I'm physically not able to get out and be active like I would want to. You have given me so much motivation to make changes to my home, buy some gadgets (a cableless vacuum cleaner - not a Dyson! too expensive for me, and matching boxes and baskets to store all those bits and pieces that any house seems to collect) and clean more and better! And decluttering! I love watching your channel, it's so satisfying. Watching someone else clean, etc?! Am I crazy? Probably, but happily so.

I grew up on the east side of Detroit then moved to Oxford (just north of Auburn Hills) and then moved to the Casper WY area about 13 years ago. I've been watching your videos for about a year now and what first caught me was the renovating part but I then just love your family and honestly you give me motivation to get those cleaning jobs done around the house, you also give product reviews on items that you actually use and we see that you do use them so obviously your recommendations are actually yours and not just words. The first video of your I watched was Demo Day 1 of the new house and it was so great to watch. I renovated my 47m2 flat here in Cape Town in Oct-Nov 2018 and I learnt so many things watching your renovations, wishing I could go back and do some things differently. I'm currently in Aurora celebrating my daughter's engagement but I usually watch you from St Augustine, FL. I started watching you about a year ago and it was a youtube suggestion from another blogger I follow. Something I always do and now my adult children do is I always bring out an empty laundry basket to put everything that doesn't belong in my car. Then I can bring everything into the house in one trip and if I don't have time to go through it all it is at least contained to one spot.
