I love that mould!! I put the empty mould on the vib plate and turn it on quite high but hang onto it so it doesn't fly off and add the aquacast with it on. After you've filled it up you can take it off. It needs to vibrate on a high setting. Hope that helps. I use the same one with concrete ornaments and coaster x
I worked for an orthodontist years ago and we used the vibrating plate to make plaster molds of full mouth teeth casts. Worked great for all the little teeth spaces. I've been thin!king about one for my UV resin work. Thanks you for the video, I need to look into aqua cast resin, looks interesting. Hint, vibrate your product before and after you pour.
I find that candle wax leaks through the vessel (I use Aquacast) when I use that wax but if I use their sealer, I don't get that problem. Beautiful candle!
I love aqua cast, but because the powder is so white, its difficult to get deep, bright colours, even with the pigments from Homeware Designs. A bright red will always come out pink. An iron oxide pigment is best, but never as bright as i would like
Hi Louise have you considered using a ribbed silicone mat on the vibrating plate and a thin piece of wood / or small plastic tray on top of it and another mat on the wood/tray then pop your mould on so you have a bigger plate area for your moulds ?
Do you think you can go back with a small paint brush and put the wax on the piece and then go back over it with a larger paint brush just to make sure everything is rubbed in properly?
Hi Louise, quick question, how do you clean your wax melter? Or do you just leave the wax in there and keep reheating? I would love to get one like yours but I’m wondering if the cleaning will be more trouble than it’s worth!
I’m not at all familiar with this product even though I’ve seen several videos. When cured it looks like plaster of Paris . If you have the time, could you tell me what it is.🥰

Thank you so much for the tip Sue! I will definitely try that 👍❤️❤️
❤ beautiful mold, despite the miniscule bubbles. Love the final shading of the color. Happy creating !! 😊

Really love that mold. It came out beautiful.
I really like the effect you got with the wax Louise. I think it looks antique. 😍
That is so beautiful. I liked the lighter colour better too, but it's still lovely.
Detailed mold. Really cool
I love the outside finish!
What a lovely piece, gorgeous colour too
Stunning 😍 love boowan Nicole moulds. I’ve been so tempted to buy a vibration plate so think I might treat myself now. Absolutely Beautiful Louise 💙
Lovely video Louise. I got a vibration plate for Christmas too, I think it’s fabulous, mines slightly different . Beautiful mould ❤️
try having the mold on the active vibration plate while you're slowly pouring in the resin, should work best

Very beautiful!!!
That is beautiful.
Maybe put it on the vibrating plate at 1/3 full, 2/3 full and totally full. That might jar the bubbles up.
It really does look great 😊. What were you using to cut the wooden wick Louise. I struggle with that and you made it look so easy ❤

Could you put a small silicone mat on the machine so it doesn't slide
Pour a little at a time, then vibrate, to get bubbles out so they won't need to travel very far.
