    I believe this is the first time I've seen one of the victims alive before the attack, just seeing him smile and laugh gives such a sense of personality, so often we see the numbers of who died that we think of them as just numbers to a tragic event, this really hit home that all of those victims were living, breathing, loving human beings.
    Really tragic! Hope they all found their eternal peace!

      Your comment tells more about your parents than anything else: I'm sorry this was your reality. They were unsupportive - if not downright discouraging - and perhaps even cruel.
      Your own less-than-humane comment added to the false equivalency that manual labor leads nowhere is ironic. You radiate misery.
      Couch ninjas - AKA cowards - are often unaware karma's force. (Karma has religious implications, yet is far more impactful and balanced in its distribution.)
      It's rare that compassion suddenly arises in people, but the story of Ebeneezer Scrooge is a great illustrator. It's the antithesis of weakness.

    Just a psa, when you are in these types of situations do not ever listen to people who tell you to stay put. With the ferry disaster in South Korea like 200 high school students drowned on a slow sinking ferry because they were told to stay put. The only people who survived that were the few who didn’t listen and got off the boat. On 9/11 many people died because they were told not to leave. In school shootings we are told to get in a classroom and hide even if the shooter is far,but that is wrong, whenever you are in these situations don’t follow the rules, leave! My heart hurts for people who die these ways. Hearing all these stories has made me realize to not follow the “procedure” in these life or death situations. Follow your gut and leave however you can.

      funical corp I’ve heard some pretty disturbing things about the Korean ferry. South Korea’s leader at the time was a woman. I watched the video of the trapped boys. In the comments it was stated she was involved in Satanic worship or if not Satan some deity that child sacrifice was required. However the actual wreck occurred the captain made an announcement to stay put and left the ship. So did the Co crew and left. The SK gov. strongly rejected help from local US Japan and even Chinese boats. It was rumored some of the kids starved but I’m not sure about that. This particular incident appears suspiciously intentional.

    That view was probably such a beautiful and special sight in that man’s heart. His life was those windows, and he probably believed he was keeping the building looking shiny and beautiful for the rest of New York and the world to see. He went down with his building, with his view, and with his windows. Almost like a captain going down with his ship. Life and death can be horrifying, but also extremely beautiful. This mans journey certainly was. And based on how his son spoke of him, I’m sure his story left a profound impact on those around him, and in reality that’s what all of us will want when we die. Respect to that man, because when we look back at how amazing those towers were, we can see the sun shining off the windows because of him, he’s in those photos and will forever be a silent part of the history of NYC. Get real, because you aren't! You do not understand the physics involved in what happened, and anyone who tells you that there is no way the buildings collapsed and were instead demolished, they are nuts!

    • @k.m.g.901
      @k.m.g.901 6 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      They fell straight down because it was built like and exoskeleton. It had the strong structural parts on the outside and the weaker parts on the inside.
      When the plane hit the fuel tanks exploded, sort of like a Molotov cocktail. Then the burning heat started to melt the steal on the outside weakening the exoskeleton that kept the building up. Then it couldn’t carry its own weight so then when the steal on the outside collapsed, it took the inside of the building with it. Which is why it fell straight down and not to the side.

    One month to clean all 23,200 windows, that means on average Roko and his workers cleaned 1100 windows each day five days of each week. That is dedication and hard work to provide for his family that his son can be very proud of in memory.

      Yeah but remember I highly doubt they’re cleaning every window every month. They’re just simply saying that’s how many windows are on the building. The fact is especially on higher levels they wouldn’t really get that dirty that fast. Could be months before they get cleaned.
