- In this video I finally mounted the Subwoofer box with the Kicker Comp R 12’s in my car. This will be the first time I’ve heard a set of 12’s in a Bandpass box so I don’t know what to expect. Kickers do bang. I'm not surprised, I had the old silver color CVRs in a sealed box and they made my car rattle and even felt air coming from them to the front.
I love bandpass boxes. I used to have a similar setup.
you can always mount the subs with the magnets in the other part of the box jus to see the difference. stay blessed👊🏼💯

Those subs are great had them 6 years 1200.1 kicker cx amp on them pounded I think those boxes u have are made to face forward should be even louder bro

I have a single 12' 1000w rms Alpine R I wonder how different it sounds in comparison side by side
Put then in a properly built box and they will sound way better.
If u can make ports longer it sould lower the tuning and give u alilmore output

A 3k for to compr? A bit much. Besides that get a rockford or jl. Something quality with good dampening.

@djronthemechanic3695 oh gotcha. Still if you're going to spend money on an amp. Get one that will last, has good dampening, and sounds good. Personally I like the t1500-1bdcp. Expensive but worth the money. I've got a t1500-1bdcp on one kicker solox 12 that does 145+ and sounds good. It doesn't sound as good as the kicker q-class I had before though.
@@SG-Cichlids I’ve always had Rockford Fosgate for my highs and mids amp. Matter of fact I have a Rockford Fosgate 600.4 . This old school amp still sounds good.
What your bass set at? I think you on to something but yeah my one 12 hitting on that level right now on 800 watts.
My sub can handle 2000 watts at 1 ohm.
The Kickers combined total is 1000 watts , both subs are dual 2 ohm. My final wiring for both is 2 ohm. My mono block amp does 800 watts at 2 ohm.
