I know no one had any bad intentions saying stuff like that, but it is interesting to see how humans act. We should just accept that we're all humans with different cultures, background, experiences, etc. No one is better than anyone, and everyone should be respected and appreciated. If you're kind to others, another will be kind to you. If they aren't, well it's on them. If they are, that's how it should be. There should be no reason you have to act kind to others because that should just be something you do.

If you don't have a compelling reason to say no, you'll never know how to say no to invitations over and over again haha In China, without a real reason refusal is a polite refusal, while in the West, refusal is a real refusal LOL

I wish people in the West would respect their elders as much. And, yes I am elderly Asian. The ideals were there during the 20's to the 50's but modern society has definitely affected social skills, morals and respect.
The saddest thing is we do have it still, but it's dwindling. I've seen people in the US capable of great selfishness but also great generosity like this. It's so sad to see it often very close together. Worse I see the bad side from those you would think would be the ones showing the greatest good.

I'm guessing this coming from an Asian person's perspective, I've met plenty of nice Asian people, not to mention that my Chinese teacher is also a very sweet person but as a non-Asian I wouldn't go as far to say that as a race they're really warm hearted. In America a lot of the homeless people are on drugs and can be possibly dangerous. I’ve had one guy chase me across the street and another showed me a notebook full of weird math and went off on a tangent about how once he found the fourth side of the triangle he would unlock something. Fourth side. They need professional intervention. Not all are like that of course but a lot are. It’s typically not just a “oh I fell on hard times and I’m poor” it’s serious mental illness and drugs.

Well to be honest it's few homeless that gives the rest a bad rap ....over here they go in the Starbucks and mess the place up so hence why they hook up the local PD with free drinks ... Also 2 stabbings in the last couple months
In America a lot of the homeless people are on drugs and can be possibly dangerous. I’ve had one guy chase me across the street and another showed me a notebook full of weird math and went off on a tangent about how once he found the fourth side of the triangle he would unlock something. Fourth side.
They need professional intervention. Not all are like that of course but a lot are. It’s typically not just a “oh I fell on hard times and I’m poor” it’s serious mental illness and drugs.
Big Difference! These people that are without have no expectation that they are owed something. In America, people expect what they didnt earn. You get more with a humble attitude.

Damn when i was hungry alone in the street with my phone battery died and no money left i still have like 3km to walk my way home, then theres this asian dude who invited me to a restaurant and let me eat, we talked for like half an hour then thanked him, then he said to me "don't thank me, we will all feel hungry anytime, i just helped you to get through it, it's natural for us to feed together" damn that shit hit hard, while other rich people are too greedy to feed one hungry man or other, salute to you my guy, i hope youre doing fine in this pandemic, God bless you.

If I'll be one of those successful person in the future I'll not think twice to help those who needs. A big salute for those man and women who didn't think twice to help the old man.

He just needed to sit and eat some bread and people started AGGRESSIVELY offering food and water. The kind of look these people have on life... Even though the man is not asking for help they recognized he needed it. It means they were actually looking at him not just passing by him. I love these videos. Asian people really have such respect and generosity... Empathy too. This is very sweet and inspirational.

We were taught that no matter how badly treated we are by the elderly, we still have to respect them. It's also part of the culture. My dad would always say that,
