Yay!!! So happy you are reacting to this!!! And yes you are 💯 correct about the representation speech! We lift them all up!!! Y’all soooo lucky to have this representation early in your life! So happy that y’all do!
In Thai culture, it is normal to address anyone as if they are our relatives even though there is no relation whatsoever. We do that to strangers as well, for example, we can address a male taxi driver who is much older than us as "Loong" (Uncle) or a female street vendor who is much older than us as "Paa" (Aunty). If I talk with anyone who is old enough to be my Grandma, I can address that person as "Grandma" even if it's the first time I meet that person. It is a normal thing here.
It was the opposite for me. I discovered F&B and then E&C. GAP is my first gl series as well and this show has raised the standards for me. I love GAP and i hope Show me love can be as successful. First couple of episodes are bit slower but if you manage to keep your western expectations aside you'll realise this show is a gem. See you in the next one 💕

Kirk and Sam aren't related, but I guess in most Asian countries, if you are considered to be part of the family, you can use the same honorifics. For example, if you marry someone, you will most likely call their parents mom or dad and such. It is kind of a sign of respect as well. Thank you for this reaction!
In addition to what you said, in Thailand, it's normal to addres even the strangers as if they are our relatives. For example, you can address a male taxi driver who is much older than you as "Loong", meaning "uncle" or a female street vendor who is much older than you as "Paa", which means "Aunty". As someone from a bit older generation I also appreciated your comments about representation (and previous lack thereof) and the need to lift up, not tear down - well said.
I would advise you to prepare yourself for this rollercoaster of a series and be ready for tears in the latter half of GAP the series, because there WILL be tears.
I always thought Sam was on the spectrum... the show will have it's own explanation for her behaviour, but even after that I still think of her in that way. Maybe bc of my own experiences, but still it is something to think about when it comes to her character. 🤔
Let me welcome you to MonSam Story. I'll wait for the next episode. You're gonna love them and you'll know why Sam acting like that as the story goes on. Honestly, can't wait for the next. Love the reaction 😊
Hell yeah. Once you finish all episode, could you react to the teasers (cute, tear, savage), trailer pilot, official trailer and the mv of the song. They are amazing videos but they have spoilers
Already excited for when your reaction to the next episode will come out! Love your reaction and how you pay attention to the story and the little details
Sam grew up in a very controlling grandmother, her sisters Neung and Song disobey to have their freedom. First, Khun Neung, she's an artist who runs away from home because she's tired of doing what their grandma wants. Khun Song died from an accident, because she reveal that she's loving a woman that triggers the grandma for disowning her. Now Sam, being the youngest have to endure all these trauma and suppress her feelings. That's why she's like that with everyone, but you'll understand the context as you watch the future episodes. 😄
As far as i know Gap the series is the first full length GL series in Thailand cause mostly they were just side couple in a series. At first the Pilot trailer both gain negative and positive response cause they lack references on how this should work but through research and collective effort of everyone they were able to produce a GL series with a high quality. No one believe this show can succeed like this that's why no one sponsor this except the young CEO who invested his all but now Freen and Becky have a crazy pack schedule that's why they are getting sick cause of lack of full rest plus a lot of toxic people attacking them for nonsense things so they can't really relax.
Yay, you're watching Gap 😊. I've been watching BL for over 3 years now and noticed a huge lack of sapphics (even as side couples). I'm glad there's finally some GL's. (as the main couple) . I agree that theres no need to compare lesbian shows to each other when they all can be at the top. When it comes to gay shows, everyone has multiple favorites, but they feel the need to only have one lesbian show as their fav, and it has to be outstanding. . Hi Ky nicole, just came across your channel and saw you have reactions to GAP the series, have to say I loved it had been watching the two main actors reacting to the episodes and like yourself they have only got Ep8 most likely too busy to record more reactions, anyway wondered if you had seen SCOY yet with the same two actresses its short but pretty good
I discovered FreenBecky when I was in Bangkok two months ago. My Thai friends mentioned how they're paving the way for GL not just in Thailand but in Asia in general. Like many Asian countries, same-sex relationship is still frowned upon in Thailand so when I hear about how popular and well received they are and GAP, I knew I had to check it out. I admit, I'm not a big fan of Asian-style drama or romantic comedy. They can be cheesy and over-the-top. But I think IDF really did a great job with GAP. It's funny when it needs to be, the supporting cast is amazing, and the love scenes are tastefully done - erotic without revealing too much. But most of all, I was blown away by MonSam's chemistry. WOW. I can see why everyone is shipping them. Anyway, thanks for the reactions. What a great GL series. It will be hard to top, for sure.
Speaking about representation and happy ending, i think i'm lucky enough that I grew up watching the legendary Thai movie 'Yes or No' (and also the sequel 'Yes or No 2')
We can't compare Gap to Show Me LOVE. How can we if show me love hasnt even Come out yet. Both gives us amazing Representation to our community, We have to celebrate LOVE not hate
i think the fans of englot and freenbeck is a venn diagram hahaha. finally youre reacting to this, i wasnt expecting it tho since i watched you since skam
ive been watching you since before i came out as trans masc. also its finally south east asian representation on this channel, im so excited to watch your reactions
btw backy love charlotte austin too, they had a kazz magazine shoot and becky was so shy and was afraid to approach, thats why i say the fans are overlapping
Sweetie if I can spend four or five hours just watching reactions; sometimes the same episode more than once, without even noticing it might just tell you how addictive this is, and not just for the main pair. Some of it seems over the top, but it's just a different style of storytelling. That extends to some other shows I've been watching recently; She Makes My Heart Flutter (5eps) from Korea & Lulu (8eps) from the Phillipines and Transit Girls, a show from Japan in 2015 (8eps). When you think of how conservative these cultures are supposed to be, to get such optimistic and funny stories when we still feel starved of them in the west is astounding; it's taken a couple of weeks worth (prob. an exaggeration :-) ) but I finally clicked on to where I knew Dad from; played the school principal in a Thai series, Hormones, which ran from 2013-5; which had a lesbian (actually written as bisexual) couple; gay & bisexual male characters; plotlines about drugs & teenage sex etc - it also had some amazingly positive single parenting. Anyway this is an amazing road you're on; so hard not to leap in and answer questions, but so much more fun to see you figure things out yourself. Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy. kerk hiraeth
in most asian countries you call people based on familial titles even if you arent related. like you'd call a friends mom Aunt. you'd call a significant others mom Aunt at first and then Mom when you become like a part of the family. similar with the grandma title. he is engaged to her granddaughter and has grown to be like a part of the family so he now calls her grandma as well. :) same thing with brother/sister. in a lot of Asian countries you call people in your life that you are close to as brother/sister (if they are of similar age as you or just a few years off) but you have no familial relationship to them. it can be confusing to foreigners and make people think certain characters are related that arent. :) i have been watching thai dramas for over a year now. specifically BL dramas because they have a HUUUUUUGE BL industry which i love. Now they just need to get more into the GL dramas. there have been a couple but not nearly enough... an interesting thing about thailand is that i know korean gay (male/male) couples that go to thailand to vacation because they feel safe and comfortable to hold hands on the streets and kiss in public. neither south korea nor thailand have legalized same sex marriage yet, but the difference is that the public in thailand is ok with gay couples. just not them getting married. it's really strange. haha but hopefully that'll change in the near future!

I Love Gap, mostly due to Freenbeck chemistry! Hope to see you finish Gap reaction with the Ep 11 Director cut version, and Ep 12 BTS. And other Freenbeck video
it’s always funny to see americans weirded out by non-family using terms like big brother/ sister, niece, nephew, aunt, uncle, grandma etc. in many languages you use terms like that as a show of respect or simply to be friendly like if i see an elder person and i go over to help them i would either say uncle or grandpa depending on how old they are. so i might say ‚yardıma ihtiyacınız varmı amca‘ (turkish. do you need help uncle). anyway, have a nice day.
Nice that she is reacting to a GL. Not many i think do that, and there are far more BLs out there, but great with more GLs for representation. Maybe you could react to 23.5 when it comes out, or Maybe Pearl Next Door(I know, it's a spin off of Gameboys, and she can watch that on her own, if she wants too, it's really good, but I'm not gonna be "forcing" her to do BL, Just thought Pearl next door could be something since it's also GL.)
Dude watch out! The fans of this show are NUTS. They ship Freen and Becky so hard that it’s toxic. Don’t get me wrong, I love the show and think the girls are pretty cool as people. Just a word of warning. Don’t go down the rabbit hole too far. Lol

Oh finallyyy
Speaking about representation and happy ending, i think i'm lucky enough that I grew up watching the legendary Thai movie 'Yes or No' (and also the sequel 'Yes or No 2')
We can't compare Gap to Show Me LOVE. How can we if show me love hasnt even Come out yet. Both gives us amazing Representation to our community, We have to celebrate LOVE not hate
When is your reaction on episode 2 coming out?
React more to them☺☺☺
i think the fans of englot and freenbeck is a venn diagram hahaha. finally youre reacting to this, i wasnt expecting it tho since i watched you since skam
ive been watching you since before i came out as trans masc. also its finally south east asian representation on this channel, im so excited to watch your reactions
btw backy love charlotte austin too, they had a kazz magazine shoot and becky was so shy and was afraid to approach, thats why i say the fans are overlapping
i have been watching thai dramas for over a year now. specifically BL dramas because they have a HUUUUUUGE BL industry which i love.
Yes the freenbeck rabbit hole
Oh you reacted to Gap! Will you be reacting to any other Thai series??
Welcome to the fandom. I also just found you and virtually adopted you. You don't know yet but you're adopted by me. Because I loved your reaction and now I want your reactions everyday. Look what you just made me do. Also girl I love your hair.

first time seeing your acc and so cute!!! cant wait to see more :)
Do 2 episode too plss
I Love Gap, mostly due to Freenbeck chemistry! Hope to see you finish Gap reaction with the Ep 11 Director cut version, and Ep 12 BTS. And other Freenbeck video
it’s always funny to see americans weirded out by non-family using terms like big brother/ sister, niece, nephew, aunt, uncle, grandma etc. in many languages you use terms like that as a show of respect or simply to be friendly like if i see an elder person and i go over to help them i would either say uncle or grandpa depending on how old they are. so i might say ‚yardıma ihtiyacınız varmı amca‘ (turkish. do you need help uncle). anyway, have a nice day.
i know you will love freenbecky too❤

of course I will!
Let's go!!! ♥️
Freenbeck is the younger version of englot they like to flirt with each other on and off cam.try to react there insta live or offcam video
OMG YES
OMG YEEEESSSSS
Nice that she is reacting to a GL. Not many i think do that, and there are far more BLs out there, but great with more GLs for representation. Maybe you could react to 23.5 when it comes out, or Maybe Pearl Next Door(I know, it's a spin off of Gameboys, and she can watch that on her own, if she wants too, it's really good, but I'm not gonna be "forcing" her to do BL, Just thought Pearl next door could be something since it's also GL.)
Yay
please go for stupid wife after this one... both series are great but have completely different perspectives!
omg maybe I will! i’ve been wanting to watch that as well
@@kynicole I would LOVE for you to react to Stupid Wife as well. I loved both SW & Gap but my obsession for SW is another level. 😅
🥰🥰🥰😘😘😘😊😊😊
❤❤
thai series are kinda like k dramas...BUT ON VIAGRA 🤣
You should react to various BL series from Thailand and Korea
what are some good/popular ones?!
@@kynicole I Told Sunset About You is so good!
@@kynicole Semantic Error!
@@kynicole Bad Buddy, Manner Of Death, My School President, Not Me, Never Let Me Go, Until We Meet Again, The Eclipse.
@@mrsmuridae Art 🤩
🇹🇭🇹🇭
Plz react to more GLs I can recommend some if you like me too
Dude watch out! The fans of this show are NUTS. They ship Freen and Becky so hard that it’s toxic. Don’t get me wrong, I love the show and think the girls are pretty cool as people. Just a word of warning. Don’t go down the rabbit hole too far. Lol
Nah. The rabbit hole is just fine. Fall down farther. All the way to the bottom.
You cant blame us 😟 how come we not ship them when they look each other with hearteyes 🤭😋
@@pink-sky. well Little mom just spilled the tea on Freen having a boyfriend so I think this ship has sunk. 😢
@@CandiceLikes i know there's a saying kids cant lie but she's just a kid too young to know about bf/gf maybe she mistook kirk ( heng ) as the bf plus freenbecky spend 1 day shoot with her. If you watch freen latest interview you will get an idea on who this person is...🤭🤭 whatever relationship they have im still happy 4 them well just enjoy the ride 🙃
@@pink-sky. yea I get it. I’ve seen almost everything of FreenBecky and sometimes I feel like they COULD be together for real. But the bottom line is, it shouldn’t matter. They are both good actors and if we really appreciate them, we should respect their privacy, and support them in their endeavors. ✌️
Welcome to freenbecky family 🤍🤍
You are not going to be disappointed. It's worth it. They are wonderful
