17:25 I mean, if the parents walked in on them, they would probably be like "Oh, sorry for interrupting Lady Sam, I'll just leave the refreshments here" 😂🤭🤭
Thank you for your reactions/ edits. It is always entertaining. I know the dog scene may be seemingly strange but I think there is a deeper meaning to it. Mon is upset with Sam because she called her an outsider and even more so because in true form, Sam was unable to be upfront about her feelings and what their relationship actually is. Sam tells Mon, "I can be anything you want me to be," and then Mon tells her, "I want you to be a dog, " metaphorically symbolizing unconditional love. Then again, in true Sam form, Sam takes it completely literal. The take away is that we really get to see just how much Sam cares for Mon here even though she doesn't actually say it verbally. Sam comes from Nobility so for her to literally get on her knees and be a dog for Mon is huge!! To be fair, I think Sam knows exactly how she feels about Mon but is scared that Mon might not feel the same way. Hence, she says I can be anything you want me to be. I think this is Sam's way of basically opening the door for Mon to be the one to admit her feelings first, but instead, Mon chooses to deflect as well ergo the dog scene. Another thing to note is that this is the first time we get to see a bit of Sam's vulnerability come out. This scene also introduces the first of many Cham Cham moments. Which I think is significant because Cham Cham with the nose tap has become the visual gesture that symbolizes unconditional love and its meaning is something that only the 2 of them (and of course the viewers lol!) truely understand.
I can't wait to see your reaction to ChamCham😂. Ngl i was a bit uncomfortable with the chamcham roleplay initially but it was cute afterwards 😅. Edit- I missed the premiere again!😢 Dude we had the same reaction to ChamCham😂. I can't remember exactly but there are references from novel in Sam's apology video so that's why it's kinda confusing for people who haven't read the novel. Also when Sam looked up the ways to makeup with your "girlfriend" 👀 the first suggestion was to verbally or sincerely (i can't remember exactly) apologise but as we know Sam is a lady of many skills but direct communication is not one of them so she skipped it and tried the video idea that's why when mon accepts her apology she says wow that really works 🤣. Idk if yk but Sam's engagement to Kirk was basically an agreement and i was so mad when i first saw it but now that I'm looking back i love how Kirk made a fool of himself by publically proposing Sam and she basically left him on read 😂. Last but not the least if this makes you feel better we have no problem in celebrating Valentine's day on March 19th especially for you❤ I can't wait for the next one ✌️
bruh i never got over cham cham that was… SOMETHING lmaooo but thank u for explaining a LOT bc i would’ve just gone on being so confused… anyway GLAD U GOT TO WATCH THIS VID!! i’ll see u in the next one 🫡
@@glitching_in_gay I'm glad my long ass comment was of any help and one thing i missed was when Mon asked what are we to each other and Sam replied "phi-nong" it's translated as "sisters" but that's not exactly what it means. Like some other cultures in Thai culture as well people generally don't call each other directly by their first name. Phi-nong are basically honorifics (Phi-elder one and nong-younger one) which *can* be used to describe a sisterly bond but it doesn't always means that. It can be used by colleagues, friends, people who don't wanna necessarily label their relationship 😜 etc. Listening Sam using this term felt a little less weird when i knew what she exactly meant.
I'm your new subscriber.....I have been watching your channel videos for a few months now. You edit very well. I love your reaction video. Many people make reaction videos. But your video editing is different from everyone else. Very good keep it up. I will always support .
I love your gap reactions honestly im crying lmao, i found your channel because of your warrior nun videos, i watched gap a few weeks ago and had the same wtf reactions and now im lowkey hooked lol, if you get used to the cringe its honestly such an entertaining show and im really looking forward to the rest of your videos
Don't worry about the quality of the video, as always it is top notch 👌🏼 And take care of yourself, we will wait as long as you need for new reactions. I keep rewatching the reactions for gap and the one for The Handmaiden, and it always makes me laugh, don't matter how many times I watch it. Don't worry so much and take it easy 😉👍🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Dangg I started watching your videos when you posted your 1st ALOTO reaction (AND I’M STILL WAITING FOR U TO FINISH LMAO) and now it’s canceled like every sapphic show ever, only 4 new episodes :’’’’’) At least we still have Gap and you amazing reactions to it
it's unfair you can binge watching Gap!!!😂(jkjk do you know how frustrating we are at that time🤣 that was like the longest weeks in my life💢keep counting every day!!!
They were engaged, but there wasn’t an official proposal. Basically their engagement was arranged, but this was Kirk’s way to show Sam he wanted more. That he actually wanted to propose. Like he said, take another step in their relationship. They were never romantic and this was his way to show that he wanted it romantically. I think everyone got a little weirded out by the dog thing 😂. Like they are cute, but what 🤣. It showed the difference between them tho. Mon meant in theory be like a dog, but Sam took it literal. It kinda shows Sam’s character, like they said in ep 3, Sam misses the main points. I find it funny how literal Sam can be, but beats around the bush in general 😂. She never says what she really wants, but she’s blunt in every other situation 🤣. She can’t tell Mon what they are, but she has no problem being directly rude 😂.
Lol! You make some excellent points here. Just want to address the part where you said Sam beats around the bush but has no problem being directly rude. To be fair, I think there is a bit more to it than that. I think she beats around the bush only when she doesn't want to be vulnerable and expose her true feelings and emotions. She carries alot of hurt and is extremely vulnerable on the inside so she puts on a hard exterior and uses her bluntness and rudeness to deflect people from seeing her vulnerability.
@@kellaay28 They explain Sam a lot in the show 😅. We get to see in ep 12 that Sam learned from her sisters how to handle emotions, which is why she hides her emotions. She took them very literal in hiding every emotion. I didn’t specify everything in my comment, since I basically can write an essay on Sam’s character 😂. When I say she’s directly rude, I don’t find Sam personally rude, but that’s how most people interpret her. I’m on the spectrum and I can relate a lot to Sam. When Sam told Mon “I forgot you’re poor”, I know Sam wasn’t trying to be rude, but that’s how it comes off 😂. I actually find Sam to be quite funny. I have a similar upbringing to Sam, very oppressive, you could never ask for anything so you learned how to do it indirectly. Sam has a lot of character development thru the series. She couldn’t ask Mon for a simple dinner, no emotion needed, but she couldn’t because she wanted it and didn’t know how to communicate it. Her friends explained it very well in ep 4. I get Sam’s character. I know she’s hurt and makes alternative ways to cope. I’m just saying it’s kinda funny how she can tell Mon to join her bath, but not ask her to dinner 😂. Sam’s very blunt when it comes to factual information or outside of her self, like other people, but when it comes to herself she avoids, beats around the bush. I just find Sam to be an interesting character 😂.
@L V LOL! I wasn't disagreeing with you. I was simply just adding more context. Sam is definitely a dry, funny kind of person. I also relate to her in some of the ways you described. Yeah, I think it's easier for Sam to ask Mon to take a bath because she is not looking at Mon directly when she says it as Mon is in the other room. Also, she pretty much consistently struggles with communication, mainly when it has to do with her feelings. Unless you are referring to episode 7, not Ep. 3. Though I think episode 7 is a bit different because at this point, they have defined the relationship, and Mon asks her to be upfront with her, so Sam starts to do that more here.
