I honestly think that’s top 3. My personal favorite for sure. The buildup is incredible, but what really sticks out to me is the music and the actual explosion that comes as a result of the transformation. It’s just insane seeing a literal nuke go off in shiganshina

I also liked the transformation of Bertholdt when he Collosal nuked Shiganshima District in Season 3. Also, the beast, cart and other pure titans transformation when Reiner is revealed in the walls. Gave me goosebumps

Bert's nuke is srsly underrated yet its one of the best transformations in the series. The weight, the build up, the OST and the animation 🐐

Annie was the best Titan (before Eren got his emotions under control). She was ice cold when it came to killing Survey Corp members (remember when was spinning the body of member without a care in the world?) and had the best hand-to-hand combat skills than anyone else.
Glad u specified that she's ice cold killing survey corp member cuz she is not ice cold when it comes to civillians.
she didn't kill armin & armin eventually exposed her, so idk about the best titan but i absolutely love her

@@kakashihatake6052 annie did care but did all the dirty work anyways. Remember when Marco died, she was hesitant to get him killed and was even crying. Not exactly like bertolt since he acknowledges what he learned through his experiences and still carries out his duty. Annie only cared for those she was associated with and just didnt express much.
Bertholdt's transformation in Shihanshina should've been here. It was easily one of the best, taking out most of the survey corps. Plus the build up to it was so great, making Bert's character arc come Full Circle

I really liked Bertholdt’s final transformation towards the end of season 3, he was somewhat empathizing with Armin and the others by saying that none of them did anything wrong, their world is just that cruel. Amazing speech and explosive transformation to finish with

One of my fave transformation moments was in S3 when Eren had re-sealed Wall Maria. Reiner's transformation after Levi stabbed him but most importantly when Zeke and every other person that was ready and waiting in hiding transformed at once. That moment blew my mind, so many transformations at once.

Omg goosebumps, that episode was legendary. But what’s more spine chilling was Levi’s surprise attack, sword dance shredding and butchering the beast and reducing Zeke to a sitting duck. That was ootw ❤❤❤
Levi literally is the epitome of "on sight". And I agree, Eren sealing Wall Maria should've been in this list.

Eren transformation on the way to move the boulder is one of the greatest cinematic scenes in the entire show. The transition from ODM to Titan form was so amazing

When Eren transformed at the end of that nail-biting and gripping exchange between Reiner and Eren, while the stage performance above reached its climax, I remember looking to my roommate and going, "what....that has to be the greatest episode of this show. They are not going to top that."

IDK man, the forest mass transformation from Zeke was pretty hefty. Pinning our boy Levi against all the titans and remembering his friends. Really carried weight of Levi's burdens.

This anime is a GOAT one. This is also the type of anime that I don't have to have a favorite character to it in order to like it. I love this anime as a whole, it's perfect. I admit that the season 4 is not what I expected but I gotta admit that it's ending is not the type of ending I want but I have no choice but to accept that it ends that way since the world is a cruel one. I don't hate it but it is what it is. I applaud how depressing this anime is, I mean it embodies how difficult life is in the real world. It's not tragic as this anime but by just watching it, you'll feel that it's not just an anime but there's more to it. It's perfectly told. I admire that it don't end as what most people want, it ending is its own. Not the ending I wantnor the ending that some wants. I love how each characters turn into major ones even though they're not actually main characters and how we consider a minor one turn out to have a very important role in the story. It's extremely exciting to watch, small details became a major impact. Hands down! Best anime ever.

I personally like erens transformation to fight annie in the forest after she wiped out Levi squad. We rlly thought they had her cornered. Eren turns around too late but he comes picking a fight to the death. The music, the lightning, the bite, his titan eyes and roar was the best titan entrance and makes episode 21 my fav episode in the franchise

Armins transformation was so insane because of the music, the music said “calm, cool, and collected, but also ready for a nuclear launch” and it gave me chills. The power of his transformation alone was enough to turn the badly, like he was miles away and yet gave the perfect opening for our scouts. The music was perfectly chosen.

In 3:29 technically Eren cant transform because of his lost limbs but because he's in a Titan he is able to shift
Notice how in 6:49 Armin's Titan form doesnt have ears whereas Bertoldt's did
Shifters can transform with lost limbs, thats how some of them do it, they can't transform when their body is too busy healing up, so thats why in s2 eren in the forest couldn't transform, his body was busy healing.

#1 and 2 can dang near be tied. #2 was so epic for those who hadn't read the manga and #1 for the build up into episode 4. Also it left the episode with an instant cliff hangar.
My personal favorite is Eren's transformation in his first fight against Annie. I just love the despondence in Eren's demeanor culminating into unbridled rage as he transforms and slides like 100 meters across the ground, skidding along the floor, and then charging blindly into Annie. In my opinion, this was Eren's pivoting point and his most influential traumatic moment besides his mother's death. It was in that instance Eren felt like he could never trust anyone but himself to get anything done at all since his already weak faith was shaken too much by his comrades deaths, leading him down the path to become the dues ex machina villain we see today.
That Marley transformation was the most epic, powerful and feel-good moment in the history of moments. EVERYONE needs to watch this anime at least once.

SPOILER ALERT!! The ending is very disappointing. Season 2 and 3 are the peak of AoT. You must be having a roller coaster of emotions but.... The ending is half assed....

There are only three 10/10 episodes right now and two of them are aot. Just looking at the episode rating makes it clear to see how good it is with an average episode rating of over 9.2 making it the series with the highest average rated episodes in history. So I think that I can state my case that this series is a masterpiece from episode 1.

Eren's transformation in Marley truly is a masterpiece of a scene and I can watch it over and over. The music, the build up, the sense of revenge, everything about that scene was God tier. This is why I love Eren as a protagonist so much
what rly makes me depressive is that the marleyans didnt know that bertholdt was killed. Imagine Reiner seeing the transformation and in that moment realising that bertholdt is dead
