My ex Bf had an emotional affair with someone half his age, and he would go out to lunches, then dinners, rollerblading, parties with his workmates and he would bring her because she "needed to get out of the house"...yet I was marginalized, full-moon kayaking with some workmates, oh and her, singles clubs with his guy friends and voila, turns out she was there too, wake-up calls in the morning, she would stop by his work, and the list goes on... I told him that he can do what he wants but I can't be in a relationship with this kind of stuff going on. So.. if he wanted to be with me he had to let this person go. He agreed, in order to pacify me initially, but the next day he came over and said that he changed his mind and that he isn't going to throw away his "friends". I said fine, you made your choice. 3 years wasted. He broke my heart.

In my case my girlfriend was in love with a coworker before she started a relationship with me and never let me know until I found her texts with him! And I always was loyal and gave her all my love unconditionally
