PoT has potential. But atm I can only play it for at least 30 mins before getting bored.
They seem to keep releasing dinos instead of fixing little things like eating, and the only thing to really do is quests to unlock skins
@@Fano899Gaming no, they do fix things, they fix little bugs, ruberbanning, and other things that may cause issue, and so what they release more dino's, at least the devs are faster with updates than the isle.
@@Fano899Gaming and also, the full game isn't released, nore done, so don't go comparing which is better just yet.
@@solar-jaymi both games are not fully released, I wasn’t really going for what’s a better game, just wanted to compare graphics so far. But this video doesn’t seem fair because pot had the foggy weather, I like both games and I will do another side by side graphics comparison when POT is sunny, but I enjoy them both, and I genuinely prefer the pot map and map details and colours
@@solar-jaymi they release them faster, it the isles are more content packed and have higher quality stuff.

I agree I think it would be awesome, I hope evrima will create a map like this I love the redwood trees and caves in pot

The Isle needs smaller map with lots of vistas, i point out towards RDR2 map. Atm it is just good graphics and cool animations but it falls very flat with a map design.

I love both games but the isle looks more vibrant. Buttttttt we gotta give path of titans something realistic a hell a lot more real looking than the isle.

having played both games there is no comparison in graphics. POT is like a cartoon compared to evrimas photo realism
It’s a hard game to compare because they are so different, I think I will enjoy evrima much more
Path of Titans has an overall nicer community and the devs aren't assholes though :/ that being said, Legacy has some nice servers but Evrima is mostly people running around as Carnos or Stegos and destroying everything in their path.

now PoT is a sandbox in which you need to complete quests. Honestly, sometimes I have a question "Developers, why are you adding new dinosaurs and not doing mechanics?" After all, without them and the same height it is boring to play. When you die, the thought immediately flashes in your head "Damn, go to the edge of the map again", although there should be another. And by the way about the map. Yes, there is no need to argue. PoT has a BETTER MAP THAN The isle, but I don't like the overdose of water. Plus, PoT has a cool atmosphere. Sooner or later you immerse yourself in this atmosphere and for that I respect them. The animations are smooth and enjoyable. In short, the result. If you want to play a sandbox with a beautiful and atmospheric world and dinosaurs, then this is the place for you ... And now let's move on to the isle. Fair. my computer nearly died when I started Evrima. But when I got into the game, everything more or less got better, although the schedule worsened. Some animations have become sharp and jerky, but mechanics have appeared. And now about the mechanics ... Well .. It's better than the Legacy version. Each dinosaur has a unique ability, which is not encouraging (they come with bugs). In general, when I played Evrima and downloaded the old version again, then ...... I soon uninstalled and started Evrima again. In Legacy I was missing something, there was no mechanic. nothing at all. Just a beautiful cover. The bottom line. If you are a masochist and love bugs, twitchy animations and a terrible map, then Evrima is for you, but it also has its advantages. He wrote in a translator. Greetings from Russia

I think PoT wants to have all their dinos in before they begin adding mechanics, its probably easier to UPDATE a thing slowly rather than shoving a ton of new mechanics on the game and hoping nothing is broke/breaks. Once PoT gets the rest of their base dinos in, it will likely head out to pre-release which is when more interesting mechanics will be added. (that's what I'm theorizing anyway)

Nice video idea, but it would be way better to compare both games if they both were filmed on a similar weather, so we could compare the lighing and such, you can't see much because of the fog. I adore the lighting in evrima, but can't really see how much ahead it is, or if it is in any way (but most probably still better than PoT)
PoT had been worked on for around a year or so, and Isles devs had yeaaaaars to fix the animations, surely they are gonna be more fluid now, still gotta remember tho that PoT still isn't officially released
I love both games, Evrima already offers growth and such, while all we can do in PoT for NOW is walking around and doing quests, so if playing alone, it gets boring after a while. But but BUT, I personally prefer PoTs map waaaaaay over Evrimas, it has that atmosphere I always felt from all of the dino documentaries, a kind of environment I always wanted to play in, and just experience that. Both games have different "lore", but having dinosaurs in a dinosaur-friendly habitat definitely speaks to me....
Aaaaaaaand even tho I loooove the fluid animations of evrima,I prefer PoT dinos way more, feathered raptors - my thing
I'm still gonna play both games, I have loads of good memories with The Isle, but I definitely can't wait what PoT has to offer
Yes I will try do a video in similar lightings next time, I’m a big fan on pot map too! I much prefer pots map then evrimas map so far, but I will deffo try get a video done in similar lighting as I think pot will look better without the fog thanks for your input I really appreciate it :)

I will be making another video trying to match the daylight so both are in midday, pot was foggy and bad weather so I think it was kinda unfair, and I hope you all had a merry Christmas and wish you all a happy new year!
IMO, Evrima is light years ahead of PoT. PoT is a dull foggy pastel lumpy landscape with no ambient sound. They have a lot of dinos, but they're all kind of the same. Also, they have no AI whatsoever, so you have to follow a carcass map another TH-camr made to find food as a carni. I rarely run into other players. Evrima is action-packed, the dinos are a blast to play even though there are only six so far, and the landscape is gorgeous. PoT has a lot of potential, so it's not really fair to compare right now. But at the moment, Evrima is on top.
Evrima will be next level, the mechanics coming into this game will definitely leave it in top position, loved your opinion you nailed it :)
yeah, the lighting in evrima isn't really the best right now but I'm sure they will fix it soon

PoT has better DEPTH of View persay but Isle is just Beautiful overall.
Evrima is a more populated game most of the dinosaurs in general have better graphics I feel like the land scape in Evrima has a lot more brush and trees I like that

Você quer comparar um jogo que está começando agora com outro que começou faz tempo? E mesmo assim deixa os seus jogadores a desejar, promete e não faz, demora séculos para lançar uma nova atualização e quando vem é toda cheia de bugs, O the isle evrima é bom mas pode melhorar! 👌
ambos os jogos podem ser desejados :) a ilha é antiga, mas evima ainda é muito novo, ambos os jogos são novos e eu gosto dos dois e não posso esperar que eles cresçam, desculpe por traduzir eu uso google XD
@@Fano899Gaming Sim, justamente mas o Evrima por mais que seja um mapa novo, o Path of Titans está começando agora e se você ver o Evrima sucede o The Isle e eles já tinha projetos e dados nas mãos e também eles tem "recursos" para fazer, então não se pode comparar o Evrima com Path, sim e com certeza o Evrima tem muito potencial mas eu acho que como um jogo que já tem história deveria sim já ter avançado e muito e é nisso que muitas vezes o criador do jogo não foca, e deveria dar mais atenção aos pedidos das pessoas que jogam para que o jogo possa fluir bem e as pessoas se sintam bem com a jogabilidade 👍 Mas sim, os dois são ótimos.
I actually don't really like pot but when it comes to visuals I think pot looks better than evrima rn, it look so nice and smooth esp when that nice rain or fog comes in idk I cant really explain it, while the isle has this very bright and green look to it, it looks so chaotic with all the tall grass and bushes and trees all bunched together its distracting tbh. and pot doesnt have that.
Beast of Berumda better than both games atm.
I still haven’t played this game, I didn’t like the look of it but I am hearing a lot of good things about it :) I might have to get it
@@Fano899Gaming takes sometime to get used to but after awhile graphic wise wouldn't be a problem and the gameplay is way different. You get a talent tree from either speed combat or survival and you can build your dino base off those talent zones. Growth also effects your ability in killing and combat wise effects your stam. So you have to becareful with attacking and also your comfort lvls. In BOB you will feel more like a survival gameplay than either Isle or POT. It beats it.
Also you can set gamma ray lvls ~gamma 1-4
Doesn't go against any rules in game.
@@mighty679 yeah I really think I need to try it, I’ve heard that you have unlimited growth too I think that seems like I’d like to try grow as big as I can :D It’s the graphics that bugged me about getting the game, I might download it tomorrow and see what it is like :)
@@Fano899Gaming like I said graphic wise takes awhile but after getting over the quality its mostly the gameplay that makes the game worth it! With growth yeah there isn't really any growth limits depending on the server. The server i play on the Forgotten realms max growth is 4.0 and its still very hard to grow passed 2.0.
The biggest rex I've ever grown got to 1.5 and I died from two big acros.

I mean... it looks boring in comparison to evrima because it's foggy and raining, and Isle is in the middle of a sunny day. I love both games so I'm not defending it because of dumb reasons
I will do another video where pot isn’t so foggy I think the fog kinda ruined it a little
