Watching the trains in Chattanooga TN on the wye with a lot of train action on the tracks with a DPU sighting, a train museum with a lot of cool train stuff, that was really great riding on the train especially through the tunnel and of course the always amazing live action super dogs and cats pets and the rocking train music slide show all on a Sunday morning with my coffee. have a great Sunday and Week thanks again Jaw Tooth.🎄🚂🚃🚃🇺🇲🎁
For a museum this one basically has it all. Certainly one of the best preservation efforts of railroads in the south. A nice short but comfortable ride for the entire family including a tunnel. Plus the fact you can see cars undergoing restoration fairly close up and how they fix and restore them. Add in that spacious display and the interesting models you've got your railroad fix. The NS trains going by are just an extra bonus and JT was the perfect guide
Great video thanks. Summer scenes welcome looking out the window in dull and rain in UK. I love the first shot with old engine and passing N & S freight. Lovely old engines Thanks for posting
Wow! Excellent catching all the trains at the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum in Chattanooga, Tennessee, I like them, they're awesome, @JawTooth, Brian, thank you very much and have a nice day and night.
Thank you for watching! thanks for the Super Thanks also! I got home late last night from LaGrange, Kentucky. I got 3 street running trains there yesterday. That was a long drive back so I appreciate your support. Thanks again Mark!
Last month, I was privileged to accompany my grandson and his kindergarten class on a field trip on the Hiwassee Scenic Railroad. The trip went as far as TVA Apalachia Dam and returned to Delano. If you love ice cream, and also watching Norfolk Southern trains; try Sweetwater Creamery in downtown Sweetwater, TN
Good morning my friend, I hope you’re morning is off to a good start. Are you and the guys heading out anywhere this week? If so be safe and have a good week 🇺🇸🙏🏻
Hey jaw tooth cool museum. Hope they can fix up all cars and engines so they can run them. Can't ask for anything better than having lunch while watching trains. Have a great railroad day. 🚂🙋♀️
Ah the summer sunshine, i miss that right now we are being battered by storm Darragh, slow moving since Friday evening. So JT this is a treat from one of my favourite train musurms next to the famous rathole as well. Perfect. So ive got my son ill in hospitsl & a storm blowing outside trees down & power cuts. Thank you for taking my mind off it all for a few minutes! 😊❤👍
Thanks for more coverage of the r r muisem great action on the reversing y would love to add one to my layout but they take up so mutch room I don't have big enough room for one have a good one 😊
JT brilliant freight trains 🚆 video the switching train 🚆 awesome wow the rail 🛤 track you showed the underside parts had been corroded away, very very cool 😎 museum that's how things started out, when you look around yards looking at very old stock do you think they should be left like that?? Or restored? That sir was a great video 📹 👍 👏
That was so cool JT. I never saw a train change direction like that before. Lots to see and do at that spot. Plus a train ride and NS trains meet. Long mixed train at the end. Thank you for sharing this. It is a special one. ❤
We just saw this one and watching it again. Just awesome 👍 Very interesting stuff.you got noticed with a nice toot salute from that NS train over that bridge. 😊fur babies. Really enjoyed this. Thanks ❤😊
They've got some pretty cool stuff! I suppose some sort of congratulations is due to Jaw Tooth - one of my cats now watches your videos. She's not sure about that Chessie however.
Two AWESOME Norfolk Southern mixed freight trains, one Norfolk Southern grain train, one Norfolk Southern auto rack train, and a very COOL Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia passenger train. Very COOL museum and model train as well! Thanks for sharing this video JT!
Chattanooga! Beautiful country, one of my favorite places, especially if you're a Civil War buff. Cannons everywhere, Look Out Mountain, Signal Mountain, battle grounds, a beautiful lake. You should ask Scott 1060gambit, about the history of the General a wood burning steam engine from the Civil War, and if he has ever ran across any rails from 1860 that it may have rolled over. LOVE THIS VIDEO !!! Thank you
An awesome blast from the past JT and have you seen the new Norfolk Southern heritage unit that just came out last week it’s the Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia unit and it is beautiful better known as the tag unit but anyway, my friend as always you stay safe out there and watch your back and we’ll see you on the next one
My first experience seeing a train turning around on a Wye was Amtrak in Carbondale Illinois. This video was first time seeing Spring Switches. Thanks for sharing
Aw man an old somerset railroad coal hopper behind those NS engines coming across the river! I used to see them all the time here in South western PA. Nice to see that SR logo.
Been to that museum a few times myself always a recommended visit when in Tennesse theres some really cool old locos and equiptment there especially that old crane car you showed sitting in the back reminds me of the logging special at cass they do for run bys on rail fan days!
The Tennessee, Alabama, & Georgia Railway ran from Chattanooga to Gadsden AL. Basically the only tracks that are still around are in Chattanooga. Where I live on Lookout Mtn in Alabama the tracks would have been only 3 to 4 miles away. This would have been the eastern side of Lookout mtn. The western side of the mtn., has the NS main from Chattanooga to Birmingham Al.
Judging from the electric box with the flashing red light at 6:30, I'd guess they have a remote control switch. And you caught a remote control locomtive an RP-E4C Slug with cab so it can lead a consist in the act at 33:15.
I have also done the cab rides on GP38-2 TAG #80 and Southern #5000, and also was the place where I got my first steam cab ride on Southern #630. I have also sat in the cab of Southern #4501 and U.S. Army #610.
Parabéns JT, belos vídeos. Gostei de ver o museu com peças e trens preservados que contam a história da ferrovia em seu belo País. Desejo a você muita saúde e sucesso. Se houver possibilidade de ir a outros museus.
Railfans of the world unite! Start the video, son.

You should! It is a fun place. For me it was a very long drive but its worth it
Nice vid with the TAG high hood. Speaking of TAG, what do you think of the new NS heritage unit?
Hey there JT Brian---- I'm surprised you didn't grab a cab ride ticket while you were there 👌
A great video 😊😊😊😊

You caught a lot of live action all the way around you there, Brian.
