Excellent video. What do you do with the leftover scrap clay (after removing facets) that is now mixed blue and white? Do you recolor it with more blue clay?
Yes!!! I usually use just a clear, and it will make the colors much more vibrant than in the bisque stage. You could also use a transparent glaze, like a Celedón type glaze if you wanted to have transparency with a color!
Hi Max- the cup must be bisque fired to around cone 04 1945 degrees Fahrenheit, then I dipped it in a clear glaze, and refired to cone 5/6 (actually cone 5 with a 25 minute hold.) About 2200 degrees .

I keep a scrap bag of pieces and sometimes hand build with it- or as you mentioned, add more color again!
