- All over the world people love bargains! I was so excited to find this 1 Euro store and see what kinds of fun goodies they had!! Shop with me and see just how different it was from our beloved Dollar Tree! Let's shop!!!!!

I did manage to pic up a few things on my shopping trip but could have gotten a bunch more had I had more time (and space in my luggage to haul it back!). Maybe it was a Godsend that I didn't! lol

I've always dreamed of going to Greece and is on the bucket list! I enjoyed seeing what is in their souvenir shops and enjoyed the accompanying music, however, it was too loud in some parts where it was it was hard to hear what you were saying. Enjoy the rest of your trip & can't wait to see what your next shopping trip will show us!

Do you ever visit Tarpon Springs, Florida? Next best place to truly being in Greece. I love spending the day there. Some of the shops kind of reminded me of your video's 1 Euro Store! The Sponge Docks are awesome. I go to Tarpon Springs to buy my Feta and Greek Olives freshly imported! I enjoy your channel.
Hi Meg! No, I've never been to Tarpon Springs but I am friends with the Greek Orthodox priest over there! I'm in Northern CA and that's a bit far away. Who knows....maybe one of these days I'll make it over there!

Yes, those bowls are super cute!! They have so many potential uses too! I know there is a 1 Euro store in Athens but unfortunately I didn't get the chance to go to it. It is much less of a souvenir shop than this one from what I remember and a bit more like our Dollar Trees but less organized. They do have souvenir type items there as well! Been a while since I've been in an European shop (I'm from Scotland living in California!) I remember the souvenirs my older brothers would get that you squeeze ..and you know what pops out! Ha
I've been too sick to travel the last 6.5yrs, and dealing with getting everything in order to have our house that burned down rebuilt! AND dealing with immigration ..got my green card 😆😃 2 more years and I'll be a citizen!
I hope you have a lovely time in Greece! Whenever we have some time my husband has his bags, books and hopefully his wife packed!

I've been dealing with this since I was 17 (I'll be 32 in Sept) but it got a lot worse 6-7 yrs ago, with the worst being 3 years ago when they gave me 24hrs to live.
Thankfully with a VERY VERY (loving, soulmate) stubborn husband he made sure everyone was on top of their jobs! Hah
I look forward to seeing more of Greece and wishing there was a star trek transporter! I'll look forward to some creations you make from items picked up
from your holiday :-)

Thank you so much Judy!! I am also a Christian so don't worry! The Evil Eye is meant to protect you from others' envious, jealous or evil energy towards you. It is believed that you can become ill or have something happen to you if you've been "given" the evil eye by someone and that by wearing one on yourself you will be protected from being "given" the evil eye. The church believes that cross is the best protection and therefor doesn't really believe in it but does recognize it as a potentially bad energy that can cause harm.
Hope that helps give a basic understanding. It's the condensed version!
