Oh i know! It's been so dry. We just didn't need all the rain all at once haha. but this trip was super fun! The NEXT one was...a doozy lol we'll just say that.
I'll be honest this one weirdly took a lot more editing than normal. We had an audio problem and almost half of our footage actually had no audio at all. I went to go back through and tidy up some of the ends of it but I did it so well the first time I forgot what parts were fake and which parts were real LOL. audio wise. It was an amazing trip!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching! I appreciate your comment!! we love, creating content like this and hope to be able to afford to do it full-time someday! What a time to be alive!!!
This is Jerry white I live here in the Ozarks north of dover me and my wife do alot of overlanding out here and we would like to link up with you guys sometime and hit some trails over here in the area we love what you guys are doing keep making the content
Thanks for reaching out, and thanks for watching! I just got home from being in that area literally 30 min ago haha. Thanks for the kind words. Hop on our facebook and you can message us there. Facebook.com/BigRockOverland
Good stuff! Wolf ridge has been on my list but definitely need a trail buddy for that one with that big rock switch back. Idk how I would feel sending solo haha.
Right on! Yeah, I definitely wouldn’t advise doing it alone. It’s not for the faint of heart lol but it was super fun. We probably would’ve tried to push it quite a bit further but we were really worried about everyone getting through safely. I feel like we definitely need a little bit of a lift. If nothing else, we at least need some heavy duty springs to lift the truck back up all that weight has got sagging quite a bit plus letting aired out of the tires so we’re dropping quite a bit of clearance. We could definitely take you sometime!!
@ agreed safety is key, plus slick clay didn’t help with traction. I think a small lift and some mud tires will do your rig great for that type of terrain. I still need to invest in front skid plates myself to protect the transmission and transfer case. Would be down to do some trail runs with you guys, still lots to explore out there!
There is so much to see! Yes we def need a good set of MTs that’s a big reason why we keep getting stuck. The AT3s are great but not so good for what we do. Too much mud out there not to have them. But it cost $$$ we don’t have 🤷🏻♂️ hopefully we can get them soon
@ overland/offroad gear is expensive in general. I’ve definitely been irresponsible with my build at times and learned the hard way with my CC interest lol. It all comes together in due time. But looking forward to linking up and exploring with yall sometime soon. I’ll definitely need a diesel heater to keep getting out this winter.
This was an awesome trip thanks for taking me long
Our pleasure!
We have needed this rain. So glad to be wheeling in the ozarks again with water flowing

What trail/ road was the one you had to turn around on ?
it was called "Wolf Ridge" on the OnX off road app.
