I love how you always say who designed the game. Most people don't even bother, but you let us know which cool person designed it.
I think there should be more of these super simple "coffee table" board games out there, I don't play a lot of board games but this one seems really nice to have around anywhere.
oooh love when a simple concept still holds a lot of room for strategic play without having to keep a bunch of complicated rules in mind. v interesting! and always love to find more 2-player games.
Pretty much all the games from Gigamic (the publisher) are in that ballpark and very fun. My favorite is still Quarto, which is tic tac toe but matching 4 characteristics (tall/short, square/round, circle/square, and solid/hollow) but you give your opponent the piece they play. Tons of strategic depth.
This looks like it should be a decent bar or coffee shop game that you could just play at a table while chatting.
The cubes look oddly edible. If I hadn't seen the title I would've thought this was one of your food reviews instead of a board game review.
Quarto by the same devs is an easy favorite of mine. Everyone I show it to loves it when you play with the advanced rules.
Shout out to the copywriter that thought up the box description, they explained the game really well and also had some great puns, haha
As soon as I saw the sliding mechanic, I knew I wanted to try this out. What a neat concept.
i think we used to have this at the games store where i worked a million years ago (it was actually like seven years ago)! it's a neat little twist on tic tac toe, and very easy to explain to people
I love your channel for the comedic skits, but you always do a great game breakdown and introduce smaller games that can easily fit into my collection!
Great review!
As someone who often watches your skits, I decided to check this vid out! Perhaps I'll check another. Thanks for making the vid, nice and relaxing too!
Kinda looks like a rubik’s cube made love with a waffle
I played this game all the time with my grandma when I was little, those were the good days
This board game is similar to tic-tac-toe, but with a significant twist. Nice!
the games by gigamic are all fantastic. They have one where u build a lil pyramid out of spheres and it also is super simple and elegant but has great strategic depth. I am a big fan of timeless designs.
This does look fun and relaxing. Thanks for the quick review!
My family has had this game for well over a decade at this point and I've played it a fair bit. In the class of n-in-a-row games I've played (tic-tac-toe, gomoku/wuziqi/5-in-a-row, Connect6, and this), this is one of the more interesting (rivalled only by Connect6) because of the fact that no pieces ever go "out of play". You can play it with a pie rule to mitigate first player advantage (in particular there's an odd number of squares), theoretically, but I don't think anyone will play this enough to get good enough that this matters.
I have a sudden desire for a baloney and cheese sandwich
It's like tic-tac-toe + Labyrinth.
I like to watch your a lot of your videos. They are very entertaining to watch and I also like the board games you describe to us and what your supposed to do.
Lol I thought this was some weird food review at first. Looked like cubed cheddar on a slice of round ham.
Based on the thumbnail I thought you were enjoying a nice cheeseboard
The blocks looks weirdly tasty
Two can play at that game... Or four if you play in teams.
This looks super fun, I will def buy this if I come across it in a store!
This is really similar to Dotzee but without dice.
Good review. Thnx 😊
it was hard to understand, but ends up being simple to understand and begin to play. nice.
Did you say can or cannot put it back where you took the block from?
I had the same question
Looks like fun! I’ll keep my eye out at my local game shop. 🎉
This game looks very interesting
This looks good. A nice simple board game.
This looks like this is fun and easy to pick up, like a good cool down game!
I could see this would go complicated rq
Grew up with this game. Ma still has it. Nice review
This looks like it would be great for me and my sister to play!
I really want this game
The game actually looks fun. I would want to have that
That’s a plate of cheese
is this cheese?
I remember when TSG covered this game
Looks like sick fun. Am I right?
So are you allowed to put your new "face up" cube into a row that already has 5 cubes, thus pushing one out, or are you only allowed to return the cube into the edge of the same row/column so it automatically refills the hole you made?
Great review
Interesting!
so it is like ticktacktoe but with a Rubik cube spin.
i wanna see a draw in this after an hour play 🤣
Thoughtful, but not brain melting
Far quix-out.
does anyone know what's the name of the background music?
or if it's from any movie, game, visual novel etc. what's it from?
reminds me of the theme that was used on the ps4 exclusive undertale theme. It's probably not that though

Let us eat the tofu game.
My relationships
thumbnail looked like a cheese platter. Came for cheese :/
Cool game!
From the pic I thought this was going to be a branded cheese charcuterie board review, am dissatisfied.
where's the other 255 episodes?
Wiegand Summit
do a review of dominoes
