I miss my mother too! I get sentimental with sounds, smells, occasions. It’s ok to miss and mourn. I find it hard when something she gave me is broken.
Kris, you missed that fabulous creamer! By J&G Meakin England “ Classic White” Blue Nordic. Sells for $30.00 to $50.00 dollars!!! Pick them up, Girlfriend…
I'm sure you're right - I should have grabbed it. Sometimes it's hard to make a decision in the moment, you know? I'm always very tempted by pieces made in England.
Haha! I need to do them again. Gardening season is tough because I'm inclined to walk outside, pick some weeds, then carry on with my day. I have this certain kind of week (my sworn enemy) that stains my nails. The pattern from Temptations is so pretty - I bet your platter and utensil rest look beautiful in your home.
Try using alcohol wipes for the ink imprint. Since red imprint may leave behind 'colored ghosting", try focusing in to rub the affected area only and not to make the area larger. I had found success using the alcohol wipes and even the alcohol sanitizer on black imprint, but red is tricky.
Just went down the rabbit hole of looking up the Derby Silver Company after you showed the jewelry box with the wonky lid. It merged with International Silver Company in 1898 where it said if it had the Derby logo it is from the 19th century. So perhaps it might be worth something even with its wonky lid😊
It was so pretty, but monogrammed items are difficult and with the wonky lid as well, I didn't feel I could do it. Maybe a mistake. It's sometimes hard to know whether or not I should go for it!
I have watched several of your videos and I’ve seen that every time there is a Bennington pottery piece. You don’t even pick it up. 🤷🏼♀️ Do you not know what Bennington pottery is?

It doesn't really get easier, does it? We're so lucky to have happy memories, even if our mothers are no longer here.
I lost my mom as a teenager, what few thing did have of hers I treasure! ❤ I miss her so very much even after 40 years.
Another great episode Kris. You purchased some great items.
Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed the vlog!

Look 👀 at those pretty nails! 😻 I just thrifted two pieces, platter and utensil rest made by Temptations of the same pattern.

I appreciate the tip! I'm going to try alcohol wipes next time.
A beautiful haul, Savers and Goodwill are out pricing themselves for resale. Thanks for sharing ❤
I definitely find I have to look very hard for the bargains! Thanks for leaving me a comment!

Just in Antiques at Brickhouse is another one in New Milford.
Thanks for the tip! I just added it to me list!
Johnson Brothers make ironstone. Some, not sure if all, Windsor Ware is ironstone.
Such a pretty pattern. It sold very quickly, but of course, the price was low because there was some damage on the back of the plates.
Sweet music
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! ❤❤
Those charges are pretty can't believe still there
It's so interesting to see what sells and what remains after a few days!
Which savers was this?
Savers in Newington - it's the closest one to my house so I stop by there pretty often.

Nope, no idea, but now I'm going to research it!
