Wow, thank you for sharing such an amazing place with a plethora of realistically detailed - emotional sculptures. I will have to put this on my bucket list. :)
The details of the sluptors showing every feature of the person who had these done. The wiman selling the acorn nuts sold thise nuts just to buy herself a place in the cemetery. The detail of her face, hands and her dress and apron, the acorns she sold till the end if her life! Awesome and amazing. I only wish they could clean the black soot off of these magnificent cravings.
@@pumpupjam9648 exactly they would be even more beautiful when cleaned… I studied fine arts in italy I had school colleagues who studied sculpture restoration, but they have little to no work now. And there are so many statues that would need cleaning though…
This work was not done with a hammer and chisel. This was done with a very sophisticated CNC machine. You can see individual fibers of fabrics, hair, pores, veins, eyelashes. It is... impossible.

@ShawnRitch thank you for your nice comment, the quality of my camera is not the best, so I'm glad you like it. Yes it's worth seeing, this place.
You should do a full body statue of Lana del Rey or Sinead O'Connor:)
