    You can actually connect the CT coil, inside the inverter, on the input AC. The Blue Nova CPS5000, witch is a Sunsynk 5KVA and a BN 5.2KWh battery, already assembled and wired with breakers and all, is wired like I mentioned.

    Awesome videos !!! Well done .. this inspired me to get my very own sunsynk inverter and battery. I'll definitely be using your videos as a diy guide .. I'm looking forward to seeing the dB connections!! Well done

    Very nice and detailed video.
    Would appreciate if you made a video showing the wiring of the load and grid outputs of inverter to ac protection box and then to the main db

    Did you used inverter supplied yellow cable for connecting bms with battery ... that yellow cable came with inverter it self . Pylon tech battery contains black bms cable

    • @DoSomethingEveryday
      @DoSomethingEveryday  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes i did use the yellow one from inverter, i also later on used the black ones between the batteries.

    Hi! Did you just use the standard data cable to connect the Pylon battery to the inverter (ie. pin 1 to pin 1, pin 2 to pin 2 etc)? Just checking there are no crossovers in pins from inverter port to battery port?

    • @DoSomethingEveryday
      @DoSomethingEveryday  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, i used the cable that was supplied with the inverter, but when i checked the ends now, it looks like a 1 to 1

    Nice video, very detailed.
    How far away from your main db have you installed the inverter?
    I am looking at doing something similar but I want to install the inverter in the garage which is about 22m from my db, so not sure if extending the CT that far would work
    and how thick a cable I would need to run.

    • @DoSomethingEveryday
      @DoSomethingEveryday  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      My inverter is 8m away. In the manual it states that you can extend the cable by another 10m.

    nice installation🙃
    just worried about the space, bec it looks so nice, you would want to expand at some stage, and you will need space for another 1-2 inverters and battery packs as well.
    did you purchase the inverters and batteries directly from SunSynk, where can i purchase from?
    what did this cost so far?

    • @DoSomethingEveryday
      @DoSomethingEveryday  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks, the plan is that when I need to expand I can remove the shelvs to make space. Then I should be able to add another 4 inverters and batteries in the room. A rough guess for total cost is +- R62 000. I purchaced most of the components from www.inverter-warehouse.co.za

    Great videos, really enjoying them! Is it possible to set the inverter to use grid power if there’s no solar or battery, but only charge batteries from solar?

    Hi, i also recently installed a 5kw Sunsynk and it is emitting buzzing noise through the devices in my house especially PC screen and PSU. Does your unit emit any noise? I can pick it up on a sound spectrum app on my phone around 15000Hz.

    • @DoSomethingEveryday
      @DoSomethingEveryday  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, Unfortunately No I do not get any of those issues. When there are big load on the system with mid day sun, I get a fan soft fan noise.I did find this in the manual.. "Installing the indoor unit, outdoor unit, power supply cable, transmission cable, and remote control cable at least 1 metre away from any television or radio receiver. This will prevent TV reception interference or radio noise. This will prevent radio signal interference from external units that might interfere with the Wi-Fi or GSM monitoring." I hope this helps, best of luck.

    How many awg(mm) have you used the grid cable and the load cable

    • @DoSomethingEveryday
      @DoSomethingEveryday  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, if I remember correctly i used 6mm cable. I had some extra left over from the cable i used to connect the solar panels.

    Hi, I bought the Sunsynk 5 Kw and Pylontech US3000c.Wathecd your video and connected the yellowcomms cable as you showed but no battery comms.. Can you supply me with the correct pimout for that yellow cable, it looks like a standard RJ45 fly lead?
    And if possible the battery settings you use, float, charge etc
    Thanks
    Christoph

      Hi, apologies for the late reply, I missed your comment coming in. Here is a link to a close up of the connections. The inverter should automatically pickup your charge and discharge settings.

    Can the inventor operat minus connecting it to the grid?

    • @DoSomethingEveryday
      @DoSomethingEveryday  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, i think if it shows a minus it could be pushing back into the grid or it could be that your CT connection is the wrong way around on your main.

    Why do those look like DC cables you are using for the AC….

  • @pieterkruger4134
    @pieterkruger4134 ปีที่แล้ว

    Why not just put your ct’s on the cable terminated on the input side of the inverter instead of extending it?

    • @DoSomethingEveryday
      @DoSomethingEveryday  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, the CT is used to stop current from being pushed back into the grid and give the inerter the ability to still push current into your non essentials DB board. It need to be connected to the point where your mains enters the building / db board.
