- We had a bit of a disaster when we returned from our Spring Break travels. Our fridge had gone out and wasn't cooling. All of our food was ruined. We cleaned out the refrigerator and set out to replenish all our groceries for the month, starting at the Local Farmer's Market, then moving to Whole Foods, Trader Joe's and ending out the day at Costco! Needless to say, it wasn't cheap to stock up, but we are so grateful we were able to and feed our humongous family!

Good morning Millers....always good to see you guys. Grocery shopping for me is early early Saturday mornings. It took me a long time to not buy large amounts. When the pandemic hit, I decided to still cook a big Easter dinner and everyone came by and took plates home. I have watched Stephen cooking some yummy things. Thanks for sharing. God bless

Farmers Market, Costco, Trader Joe’s all my favorite places. Like Whole Foods as well but they’re a little pricey. Also Amish communities are great to visit. They are such sweet and lovely people.

I know the pain you went through when your freezer failed. I have a large upright freezer on my back patio and somehow the freezer door was not closed properly after stocking it up for the month. This was about six weeks ago. It was over 24hours before it was found not closed and I had to throw out four garbage of food including a lot of meat. I cried and cried while bagging up spoils and I remember asking God why. I have a husband who has kidney failure and on renal dialysis as well as having a heart attack and double by pass surgery, On a limited budget it was stressful. I look forward to your videos they are a blessing to me.

I live in California but a few years back I took two of my grandchildren to New Year to visit my daughter and we went to Pennsylvania for a few days because I love reading Amish books. I took them on a 3 hour tour of Amish businesses and the last stop you go to an Amish families home and get to sit down in there living room and talk with the family and ask questions. They were so nice. My grandchildren were 8-11 at the time. They had fun. My daughter has a friend and her neighbors in New York are Amish.

We’ve been to Lancaster PA many times. You will be able to see the Amish way of life and ride on buggy tours where they bring you around the farmlands. Also Hershey World is not too far away. Maybe an upcoming vacation for you.

Something else you guys may enjoy. See if you can find a local farmer that sells Goats milk. (prefer non pasteurized) I grew up on that. Unfortunately in my area nobody sells it.

I love the SodasFruits Drinks also and all Organic Snacks,, New Jersey had a large Orangic Storewith everything. I moved to another Area and forgot about the Store! I loved the Grocery Haul because it gave me Healthy things to eat. The. House isaking Progress since you Traveled

Come to Ohio to visit our Amish communities! We have Lehman's hardware in Kidron which is a big tourist attraction and the farm auction nearby on Thursday's. There are cabin rentals in the area. Lots of Mennonite and Amish communities. Lots to see.
