Coax Machine gun is underrated. By far my favorite to use as a secondary. Even with a full tank crew of buddies. A good assistant gunner on the .50 cal, is still important though. Also calling out enemy tank movements they spot, on the full size map, to the driver.

I don't think they've changed there gun in my eyes, if they have they still don't fire the new modern ammunition that the russian tanks get to fire, that's just some of what I know so far
@@JD_BRO117 every single tank in the world is just a some form of modernization of a cold war era vehicle because it turns out designing and producing new 50+tons armored vehicles with complex electronical systems in high enough numbers to where you can field them to your brigades and replace the old ones is not easy especially for countries which are more and more de-industrializing and can barely produce the spare parts they currently need for those "old cold war era tanks", the T-90 is a modification of the T series hull but the hull itself and turrets aren't the same, not the same armor, not the same ERA, not the same gun, not the same engine and not the same internal systems. Saying the T-90 is "just a modification" therefore it is "not a new tank" makes as much sense as saying the M1A2 is "just a modification" of the M1A1 when there were fundamental changes made to it (despite it retaining the same hull design and turret design), there are things called designs, the leopard series tank uses the leopard series hull and every new leopard tank design like the leopard 2A7 has a modernized hull with key improvements made to it (and yes those improvements are not limited to slapping ERA, you can actually add layers of composite and rolled homogenuous steel on them). What you need to understand is that between the time these vehicles were designed+produced and now modern warfare hasn't changed drastically and thus tank hull design/turret designs did not become obsolete and could just be modernized which is a more cost-effective solution especially seeing how an open conflict between the current major powers is likely to mean those shiny new tanks you've spent tons of taxpayer money designing and producing won't be used at all. This basically means that as long as you can fit new equipment in the old design then you don't ever need to change it, and it's likely to remain this way for a long time (and yes this is the very reason why the T-14 Armata and all other modern tank projects are at a standstill or abandonned : we don't actually need these) TLDR: If it ain't broke, don't fix it and if it looks stupid but works then it's not stupid

One thing I learned about the two things that look like eyes on the front of the turret, is meant for disrupting ATGM's, would be interesting if it was an upgrade for the tank and working in game. Tho, it doesn't work against modern ATGM's irl.
The T 90 has an upgrade for Kontakt 5 ERA in the form of Relikt position, this should help you against some RPG and Rockets, maybe you could get it, seems you play with old T 90 not T90 M Provy. .

The gunner has the BURAN or later on version called ESSA sight, which is also present on the real life version and the model in this video. The turret of the T-90A is a welded turret, which is the same in the model of this video. This is a T-90A, shut up for the love of god.

7.62 coax will shred infantry. Higher fire rate was always better than the 50cal coax.
