Jomtien Pattaya Beach And A Quick Walk Before The Rain. Thailand

A short video I made of my morning walk to show you that it isn't always hot and sunny here on Jomtien Pattaya Beach. The mornings are much cooler after a night of rain and walking in the fresh air makes a nice change from the baking morning sun.

Got some nice fresh air from the afternoon storm today. It has been over a month since I've seen more than a few drops of rain in Jomtien. Lots of slugs on the pool sidewalks where I live. Nature responds when it get what it needs. Although the rain was pretty hard in short stretches, including some rumbles of thunder, it was beautiful as you say.

Rained here in bkk , surprisingly on and off from 5 am until about 2pm 😅but it made the temperature a bit cooler ..

I walked from New Plaza Pattaya to about 4km along Jomtien during my Dec '22, 6 weeks trip about 4 days on the bounce. After 2 years of zero exercise I didn't do myself any favours my hands and feet swelled up to alarming proportions, so eventually went to the hospital and within another week or so , all was back to normal. I'd not been to Jomtien since 2010 ish and was flabbergasted at the amount of new development. The beach road once came to an end after about a mile or so, but this was no longer the case and the same applies to the right hand turning, which was once a narrow dusty meandering track, was now a block paved area hundreds of metres long and 50 meters wide. I wouldn't have been more surprised if I'd woken up with my head sewn to the carpet😆

Nice to see some rain there for a change as it will cool the place down temporarily…also makes it look cleaner & nicer!! Heard yday that there will be a big Icon Siam shopping mall to be built in Jomtien?? Wonder if there’s some truth in that?? 🧐💁🏻‍♂️😎

Went out on the bike for a bit of exercise - got poured down upon around Sattahip and came back destroyed. Had a nice shower and went to Lotus's - got destroyed a 2nd time. Should have just stayed in bed! 🤣
