Those who have enough money and other type of monthly income, only can survive doing farming. Those who depend only on farming for livelihood it's quite difficult and facing lots of hardship
Sir,If we have below 05 acres of lands now a days it is difficult to do Agriculture profitably. 1.Labour cost is much high in the past 05 years. 2.Because of 100 or 150 days PM Rural work,Farmers in most Villages unable to get labours both male and female. 3.Now a days disease to do subsidy works are more frequent for growing Chich,Goat etc Dr fees and medicines cost arehigh. Manure cost is also high. Anyhow PM Shri Modi ji is giving subsidy Rs 2000/- four months once i.e. Rs500/-to marginal and small Farmers having below 5 acres of Lands is giving little relief. Sir,People like you even former Chief secretary , present Chief secretary and even DIG of Police are Agricultural graduates. and even more or less 50% of IAS,IPS,IFS are from Agricultural and Vetenary Colleges as graduates and post graduates . Sir,why not people like you Retired and now working in higher position suggest TN Chief Miniter Thiru M.K.Stalin to give subsidy Rs.1000/- per month by taking into account of remote chance to get profit now a days.? Anyhow I wish you Sir to do Agriculture for a long time as a role model to Govt/ PSU Staff and Officers .
