It’s been a thing since the early days of TH-cam. I used to remember listening to a version of the remix where the instrumental was pitched down to match MJ’s voice from Bad.
I was so surprised. For years I have been singing bad, but with the ghostbusters theme song. So I searched up a crossover to see I there was any, and Im here dumbfounded to listen to exactly what I've been singing.

Clearly they are completely different songs, so slight 'sacrifices' have be to be made in pitch, speed or both in order to make them fit perfectly (which they do here) and neither original song will ever sound absolutely perfect in a mix like this. Having said that, this is a brilliant mashup.

It'd be difficult to get a good sounding chorus without the backup vocals, if you listen to just the lead vocal you'll see why. Also those aren't backup singers, that's Michael layering his voice
