Avarohanam: Ṡ N₂ D₂ P M₁ G₃ R₂ S
There are Taana varnams, Pada varnams and Dharu Varnams.
Taana varnams are the regular varnams - with Pallavi, Anupallavi, Chittaswaram, Charanam and Charanaswarams. The Pallavi, Anupallavi and Charanam have sahityam.
Pada varnams have the same features as Taana varnam but in addition, the chittaswaram and charanaswarams also have sahityam.
Dharu varnam is a unique type of varnam which has jathis also intertwined into the structure of the varnam.
Mathe Malayadwaja pandya sanjathe is a varnam by Shri. Muthiah Bhagawathar on the Goddess with jathis, sahityam and swarams. - เพลง

Incredible. This is not Saraswati veena that Smt JKumaresh is playing. It is Saraswati herself playing the veena through her. The Divine Mother dances . The kamas raga devathai bows down in wonder. How blessed the composer, the artiste and the listener are! May you live long and spread such divinity more and more.

Even though I am a Sri Lankan Tamil living in Sydney, I have managed to understand and memorise the Telugu (?) based Mathey Malayadwaja kriti. Now, whenever I listen to this kriti played by Dr Jayanthi Kumaresh on Veena, every bit of the sound emanating from her Venna, echoes the corresponding word in my mind. Splendidly played by this maestro. May her holiness Saraswathi abundantly bless you.
