Does the ambient temperature sensor has anything to do with boost??

not directly but under some conditions computer will look at ambient temperature to give more or less boost

Agreed with you... iwish to hear from you 3 years ago.. i changed my original to after market . Then my truck started acting like it's a freaky FREIGHTLINER

So are you recommend me after market or original? I heard about duralite after market cooler is the best.

Dura-lite is the only cooler I'll buy with 7 year warranty.
