LOL, that is a good example of why one would like to disable the privacy mode. I wasn't driving at that time though.
Thank you for sharing your experience with this unit. I just received mine today and had a chance to test tonight. I feel the night quality is poor but hopefully daytime will be good.
Also, I noticed that this unit seems to be doing some sort of license plate image enhancement at night with sufficient lighting. When your car lights are directly on a license plate, you can see how the image is modified to sharpen the plate somehow. At about 5:03 you are turning left and there are 4 parked cars moving right across the field of view. The black suv plate is never readable but the white suv and red hatchback plates become readable. I use the < and > keys to step through the video to see the changes and the enhancement happening to the red hatchback becomes most obvious.

Great video 👍🏻 I’m having trouble viewing my videos on my Chromebook. I can’t view anything with the default media player. I downloaded the VLC app and it will only play my cabin-facing video but it’s very laggy. Any advice?
Hi, Chromebooks usually have very basic video processing chip AKA Graphics Card. So I recommend using a PC or Mac to view it. Meanwhile if you have no access to other computer devices try viewing it on your phone using the app. If that is not possible, try installing 5K Player on your Chrome book. Good luck

Thanks for watching, unfortunately that particular model of Garmin doesn't support Car Play.
In 02:54 you did zoom in , I couldn’t find it , which button need to press or hold it ? Thanks
The zooming was done post production in my editing software, not on the camera itself.

@@Manihsi Not with the current firmware version. If they release a new firmware, they can add that option. However, the addition of that option will be by software only, which means it will crop the image, and you will lose quality.

Hi, I don't think you are doing something wrong, I think you are using a slow speed Micro SD card. With this camera you must use a very high speed Micro SD Card that can support continuous 4K recording. Examples are SanDisk Extreme Pro Micro SD Card
How do I get to the main screen on a Garmin GPS tablet,
This will not send images wirelessly to a Garmin GPS, you can only see Live Video feed through WiFi on a Smartphone, Tablet, or iPad which can run the Nexus app.
