Do you have any tips for fishing lake Wylie? I’m a transplant from Minnesota and am used to fishing lakes with much more vegetation. Don’t know where to start when areas are mostly barren and rocky
Thanks for watching. With there being hardly any vegetation on Wylie I recommend shaky head on docks, buzzbaits and whopper ploppers on points , secondary points in creeks,. The bass relate to docks, brush piles, lay downs, and stumps, rocky points , rip rap banks . Can’t go wrong with a Ned rig, shaky head , wacky rig though. If it’s windy throw a crankbait and spinnerbait. Hope this helps
No better way to end a work day, than some after work fishing, and you landed some beauties.
