I’ve found African Gold to run on the dry side but never had issues with ink boogers (and that was having left it in a Eco for months). It is a beautiful color though. Your palette was lovely!
@@journalwithtiff7221 The TWSBI Eco with the Khaki was beautiful! But, I'm in love with the Kitsune Biyori and would probably put that in the TWSBI Eco instead.😄 I don't own any TWSBI's, but that won't last long...LOL.
Love your muted color palette for April. I haven't written with the Robert Oster Gold Antiqua yet but its going to be in my June line up. I've been wanting to get FWP Oyster Hour and I'd like to try Robert Oster Khaki in my RG TWSBI in creme too.
I live in North Carolina what show!? I’m going all the way to New York for the stationary fest in August but I would definitely be up for a show in North Carolina. I love the whole color palate!
Yes! I just found out about it last year. It's the Triangle Pen show in Durham. This will be my first time going. I hear it's not as big as Chicago, DC and others if course but still a good show. trianglepenshow.com/
Hi Tiff. African Gold like Ancient Copper because they are brown orange inks are prone to drying out. The Montegrappa probably didn’t seal well, hence the crud on the nib.
Robert Oster African Gold is a super dry ink. Then the cap might not seal well enough so it might dry out. Plus you might experience nib creep with this ink color too. I hope you find an ink that's better suited for the Montegrappa. Meant to say, I don't think the pen leaks.
Heeey I’d love to hear your opinion on Rose Gold Antique + twsbi! On Goulet’s page that in is marked as calligraphy ink which made me super hesitated to put in any of my fountains pens let alone to say a twsbi ef which I also found them a bit drier. So my question is, how is the glitter? Did you ink w/o glitter? No clogging at all?! ❤thank you!
Hi! The TWSBI it was in was an EF. I RARELY add shimmer inks to my super fine nibs. I just don't want to deal with having to clean them out. But I have had it in my TWSBI F nib and it did great. It doesn't behave like a calligraphy ink to me.
@@journalwithtiff7221 thank you soooo much!!! That’s great to hear!!! Ya I got a sample of that ink and absolutely love the color!!!! Will probably get a full bottle then

You always introduce me to a new ink color that I want! Your taste in pens and inks is awesome!
Oh thank you! Which are you liking?

I put Sailor's USA Washington (a very calming green) in my Winter White and I LOVE it. I was so excited to see you had picked a green as well.
I have REALLY been into greens lately. ❤️
Wowww what gorgeous inks you used this month!! Now I really want to try khaki!
You should!
Great ink choices, I’m a big fan of Robert Oster inks, thanks❤
Thanks for watching!
