Marianne's compositions are fascinating. They excite me and I feel the desire to pick up the guitar again and start playing. I am by no means a virtuoso and my technique has its limits, but that is why I appreciate Marianne's pieces so much, because she really has something to say with her music, but her pieces are nevertheless technically manageable for many guitarists. I really love the book "Am I too loud" by Gerald Moore, in which he also writes about what he understands by technique and shows, using so-called simple pieces, how important it is to strike the notes in the right way to create the right "effect" and the right mood. You could also express it with Celibidache: "The sound must obey the spirit" - this is the goal of technic! Greetings to the south Stefan
