I think you are the best Khmer teacher I have had (and I have had at least 12 over the years. Your English is excellent, (your Khmai is pretty good too! haha) and I like that you go regular speed AND slow speed too. I also like that you post both the English and Khmer words, since I am learning to read Khmai a little. I know IPA but prefer the audio with the Khmer writing.

First of all, thank you for doing this learning video. It helps me brush up on my Khmer speaking skill. I wish my parents taught me how to read and write in Khmer when I was little. It’s on my list of goals to work on. I will have to watch your other videos. Question on the drinking translation. In your video, you translate drink as “Pays-sjea”. I’ve always known it as “puok” . Is this right?

It's different. One is Verb and another is Noun. To drink (v): poek and drink (n): pays-s'jeak = beverage
